Chapter 585
Haley didn't know where she was.
Suddenly, a mist of blood filled her eyes, and a vast sea of blood surging towards her, bringing an overwhelming sense of suffocation.
Haley gasped for breath. However, deep in the blood mist, she heard a familiar voice.
"Haley."
"Haley."
One after another, like desperate cries before death.
"Who are you? Where are you?"

She checked the time and realized that today was already the sixteenth day since Ivan had gone on his business trip, and she wondered when he would return home.
After showering, Haley came out. The day was still early, and the children hadn't woken up yet.
In the villa's garden, Brenda was tending to a pot of precious orchids.
Seeing Haley come out, Brenda looked up and smiled, "I heard you're moving your office today. Shall I have Alfred bring a few people to help you?"
Haley smiled and said, "No need, I've already hired a moving company. It's not a big deal."
She paused before continuing, "Mom, did Ivan told you when he's coming back?"
Brenda's hand stiffened as she watered the flowers, and she said calmly, "Ivan never tells me about these things. He's been exceptionally independent and decisive since he was fifteen. Sometimes, he goes abroad for half a year without even informing me about it. I've long been used to it. Haley, don’t worry, Ivan is a responsible and reliable man; he won't fool around outside."
Haley pursed her lips.
She wasn't worried that Ivan would fool around outside. She just felt it was very unusual that they hadn't had contact with each other for half a month.

Haley sighed and drove to the office.
