Chapter 122 Determined to Turn Over a New Leaf
Owen sheepishly lowered his head, his ears turning slightly red.
Ivan couldn't help but snicker.
This kid always knows how to act cute and please people, when did he start getting shy?
He coldly said, "Let's go, back home."
Owen's satisfied smile instantly froze on his face.
He pitifully grabbed Haley's sleeve and said, "Haley, can I stay here? Please?"
Haley patted his head and said, "I have to go to work later, Todd and Angela have to go to school too. What would you do all alone at home?"
Deflated like a punctured ball, Owen hung his head and asked, "Can I come over again in the future?"
"You can, but..." Haley glanced at Ivan, "you must get your daddy's permission. You can't sneak out alone. If you can't do that, then you can't come over anymore."
"I can do it! I will definitely do it!" Owen patted his chest, "Don't worry, Haley, I won't secretly run away from home anymore!"
