However, Haley couldn't bring herself to throw it away.
This ring symbolized the love between her and Ivan. If she just threw it away, that love would cease to exist.
However, wearing the wedding ring alone didn't really make much sense.
Haley sneered and put the ring into the pocket of her blouse.

As soon as Haley looked up, she saw the four children, who had been sitting in the dining room, now surrounding her. Their dark eyes were filled with the same worry.
Haley suppressed the emotions in her chest and casually asked, "What's wrong with you guys?"
"Daddy is too much!" Owen puffed up his cheeks, angrily saying, "He finished work and came back early, but instead of coming home to be with you, he went to the bar to dance with the other women! Mommy, I want to teach him a lesson!"
Angela blinked and said, "I miss Daddy so much. Why doesn't he come back to find me?"
Keith clenched his fists. "I'll go, too."
Todd's expression was sullen as he said, "Let's go to the company!"
Seeing the coldness in Todd's eyes gave Haley a jolt.
Todd had finally opened his heart to accept the Winston family. If he knew that Ivan had done such a stupid thing, his character might become even more pessimistic than before.
"What are you doing, Darlings? " Haley squatted down, smiling gently. "The night before last, your daddy was with clients. The picture on the news was photoshopped and released to deceive gullible viewers. You are all the smartest children. How can you be fooled by such simple rumors?"
"Ivan and I have a stable relationship, not as the reporters claimed," Haley patted each child's head and said, "Alright, finish your breakfast and go to school. I have to go to work too."
"I was so scared. I thought Daddy had really turned into a bad guy!" Owen said with lingering fear, "Mommy, we're going to school. Bye!"
A sweet smile appeared on Angela's face as she said, "Mommy, see you tonight."
Keith followed. "Mommy, we're leaving."
The three children had already taken several steps away, but Todd was still standing in place.
He had noticed that Haley had been in a bad mood these days, thinking it was because she missed Ivan.
However, after hearing today's news, Todd suddenly realized that maybe there was a problem with Haley and Ivan's relationship.
Haley had been keeping it from him to prevent him from worrying too much.
Todd pursed his lips and said softly, "Mommy, I will always stand by your side. No matter what happens, I am your biggest support."
Todd originally wanted to say that no matter what happened, he was Haley's greatest reliance.
However, he couldn't provide Haley with any real support.

As Haley watched the four children get into the car with Alfred, her smile disappeared instantly. She turned and went upstairs, placing the ring in the deepest part of the bedside table.

Just then, Haley's phone vibrated.
She glanced at the caller ID. It was Thomas, whom she hadn't contacted for many days.
Thomas hadn't shown up on the wedding day either, and she didn't know if he was still in Watertown.
