"Mr. Robinson, you really are quite handsome," she casually complimented Liam Robinson.
Pleased by the beautiful woman's praise, Liam Robinson was almost beaming. He modestly replied,"Miss DeRoss, you are the real beauty. In all the parties I've attended in Cuenca, this is the first time I've seen someone more beautiful than the stars in the sky..."
Emily's eyes curved with her smile. What woman wouldn't enjoy receiving such compliments, especially from a successful individual like him?
She lowered her head, pursed her lips, and adopted a coquettish demeanor.
Ivan drank most of the wine in his glass and calmly said,"Miss DeRoss has just been discharged from the hospital and is still feeling unwell. I would appreciate it, Mr. Robinson, if could take care of her."
Liam Robinson said with a nod,"Mr. Winston, rest assured, I will take good care of Miss. DeRoss!"
Emily felt something was off and turned her head. "Ivan, why don't you take care of me instead? I..."
"I need to use the restroom, so I can't take care of you," Ivan interrupted her, pulling his hand out of hers as he walked away.
Emily bit her lip, feeling the growing sense of unease in her heart.
"Miss. DeRoss, let's go sit over there and chat," Liam Robinson warmly smiled. "I heard that the DeRoss family has a significant heavy industry, I wonder if there's a chance for collaboration between us and the DeRoss family?"
Upon hearing this, Emily suppressed the ominous feeling in her heart. If she could negotiate with the Robinson Family as a client, it would help salvage her unfavorable image among the shareholders of the DeRoss Group.
She nodded and followed Liam Robinson to the nearby lounge area to talk.
In the distance, Haley witnessed the whole scene.
"What is the relationship between Ivan and Emily?" Justin frowned and said,"With Ivan's status, it's astonishing that he would introduce clients to Emily. If Emily manages to bring in Liam Robinson as a major client, it's highly likely that the DeRoss Group's shareholders will turn against us again."
The shareholders of the DeRoss Group were a group of profit-driven businessmen. They would support anyone who could make them money...
"Haley, let me introduce a few clients to you," Justin said in a serious tone.
Haley smiled lightly,"Cousin, don't worry."
Though the shareholders of the DeRoss Group were primarily capitalistic, everyone knew that the Roscente Group and the Robinson Family had more lucrative projects. Even if Emily successfully collaborated with the Robinson Family, it wouldn't make much difference.
Haley didn't pay much attention to this matter.
Justin, however, was getting anxious. Without saying another word, he took her around to the guests, continuously introducing clients to her.
With Haley's beautiful appearance and enchanting smile, many men couldn't resist her charms.
Justin's actions inadvertently gave those men an excuse to come forward and strike up conversations...
