Chapter 93 Rumors
Haley walked into the DeRoss Group with her small bag, and people around her looked at her with strange eyes.
"Haley had just acquired shares in the DeRoss Group and now she's being kicked out of the boardroom. How miserable."
"What's so miserable about it? It's just that she didn't understand the situation and spoke recklessly. Now she's facing the consequences."
"It seems that Emily is more suitable to lead the DeRoss Group. Haley should find a place to stay cool..."
"You've already forgotten how Emily ruined the bidding meeting yesterday?"
Haley turned a deaf ear to these voices. She entered the elevator and went straight to the top-floor meeting room. Standing at the door of the meeting room, she glanced around and saw that everyone was present, taking one step inside the room.
Mr. Taylor sneered, "Haley, the Roscente Group's case didn't go through. From now on, you are not qualified to attend shareholders' meetings."
Mr. Smith nodded, "Today, the company is holding an internal meeting. Please leave."
"You proposed the bet yourself, and since you lost, you should honor your word." Mr. DeRoss said coldly, "Get out!"
That day, Haley spoke eloquently, and he actually thought that his daughter could negotiate the Roscente Group's case successfully. But earlier today, people in the industry were already talking about the collaboration between the Roscente Group and the Hill family.
He should have expected it. What ability did Haley have to persuade the responsible person of the Roscente Group? He shouldn't have had such high expectations for his daughter.
"Dad, no matter what, Haley is a shareholder of the company. It's really not appropriate to kick her out." Emily smiled and advised, "Haley holds 25% of the company's shares. Let her be the manager of the client department. It should be fine."
"Are you done talking?" Haley pulled out a chair and sat down. She smirked, a cold smile on her face that made others hesitant to speak.
Mr. DeRoss, annoyed by her attitude, said, “I told you to leave. Can’t you hear?”
"Even before a criminal's execution, they have the right to defend themselves, don't they?" Haley chuckled lightly. "Don't you all want to know why the Roscente Group chose to cooperate with the Hill family?"
The Hill family was not a multinational corporation like the DeRoss Group, but an old local conglomerate in Cuenca.
