Ivan said, "Sorry, Haley, things happened so suddenly. I didn't have time to tell you."
Haley heard his voice through the phone, accompanied by sounds of a startled crowd and the collapsing and burning of the beams.

Haley said, "Take care of yourself. The children and I will be waiting for you to come back."

"Haley, have you finished your call? We need to go." Brenda walked over and handed her a glass of champagne.
Haley put her phone in her pocket, smiled faintly, and said, "Okay, let's go to the banquet now."
The Winston Group's wedding banquet had hundreds of tables of guests. Each table was filled with elites from various industries, who were all distinguished guests.
By the end, Haley was exhausted.
"Mommy, your face is so red!"
Owen blinked his big eyes and curiously said, "Did your face turn red because you drank the wine?"
Angela licked her lips and said, "I want to drink too."
"Children can't drink alcohol," Todd said lightly, "Brenda can prepare fruit juice for you."
Angela had sweet and delicious fruit juice last time. She nodded vigorously and said, "Okay, I want fruit juice!"
"Haley is exhausted today. Let her rest in the lounge. I’ll take you to get some fruit juice." Brenda took the four children into a private room.
The children were very excited about today's wedding. Even the usually mature and reserved Todd gradually let his guard down and accepted the whole Winston family.
The private room had been specially arranged for the four children, with a table full of cakes and desserts and endless fruit juice.
Angela took a sip of fruit juice and excitedly exclaimed, "Grandma, how many cups can I drink today?"
Last time, Alfred was afraid the children would get drunk and had allowed each person to drink only half a cup.
Brenda smiled and said, "Everyone is very happy today. You can drink as much as you want!"
She placed four large cups of fruit juice in front of the children. Angela licked her lips. She couldn't wait, and drank half a cup in one go.
Todd frowned and said, "Angela, drinking so much will make you drunk."

"Thank you, Grandma!" Angela lowered her head and drank the remaining half cup of juice.
Haley had also drank quite a bit of wine in the adjacent lounge. She lay on the sofa for a while, then suddenly woke up.
She glanced at the time and realized an hour had passed.
Haley rubbed her head, sat up, fixed her makeup, and walked out of the lounge, only to see that most of the guests in the lobby had already left.
