Chapter 545
Four or five chefs stood at the entrance of the restaurant, each with a big smile on their faces, all with a hint of ambiguity in their eyes.
Haley almost choked on her own saliva.
In other words, the incident between her and Ivan last night, all the stuff in the mansion knew about it.
"Haley, why are you up so early?" Mrs. Winston walked over with a smile, "Have some black chicken soup. It’s good for women."
"Thank you, Mrs. Winston."
Haley lowered her head to drink the soup, not daring to look at the people around her.
In her twenty-three years of life, this was the most embarrassing morning she had ever experienced, and she wished she could escape quickly.
Just the thought of Ivan still sleeping made her feel particularly uneasy.
At that moment, a uniform greeting sounded in the restaurant. "Good morning, Ivan."
Haley instinctively turned her head. She saw Ivan walking in from the restaurant entrance in a silver suit.
He was dressed neatly, with his usual cold and stern demeanor. It was hard to imagine his behaviors in bed.
Haley gave him a secret glare.
Ivan sat down beside her and calmly and tried the deer antler soup without changing his expression.
Haley felt that she was done for today.
"Don't eat too much." She quickly took the bowl of soup away. "You will feel sick."
Ivan looked at her with a half smile."Whether I drink or not doesn't matter."
The implication of his words was too much, and Haley blushed instantly.
"I want some too." Owen licked his lips. "Deer antler soup sounds very delicious, Mommy, can I have some?"
Haley thought to herself. ‘What's wrong with this child? Why does he want this?’
Mrs. Winston quickly picked up Owen. "Deer antler soup is not good at all. I will take you to eat ice cream, okay?"
"Ice cream!" Angela's eyes lit up. "Grandma, I want it too!"
The two easily appeased little ones were taken by Mrs. Winston to the yard.
Keith and Todd sat at the dining table, obediently drinking shrimp congee.
After Ivan had eaten almost enough, he spoke in a light tone. "Keith, take Todd to the company today to familiarize him with the business processes."
Haley frowned in disagreement. "Didn't we agree to send the children to kindergarten?"
"Going to school and going to the company are not conflicting." Ivan said leisurely, "Todd is exceptionally intelligent. Keeping him in kindergarten every day would only waste his talent. Look at Owen, he's not very bright, did I ask this kid to go to the company?"
Owen, playing wildly in the yard, sneezed like a little pig and continued to play carefreely.
Haley pursed her lips. "Todd, I respect your choice."
"Mommy, I can do it," Todd said obediently, "I will learn how to manage the company well with my big brother."
He currently had a hacker studio under him, so he didn't need to worry too much about the technical aspects, but in terms of managing the company, he lacked experience, so it was a good opportunity to learn.
Keith nodded, "I will teach Todd well. Mommy, don't worry."
Haley had to agree, "Alright, Todd, don't push yourself too hard. If you're not comfortable, then don't go."
Todd nodded obediently.
After breakfast, Keith took Todd to the company, and Mrs. Winston took Owen and Angela to the amusement park.
