Chapter 595

Four years ago, Emily brought the two young children to come live with them. Although Ivan disliked the sudden intrusion of the two children into his life, he would ask Alfred about their health every few days.
This time, however, Ivan had not been home for almost a month.
And the four children hadn't seen Ivan for a month either.
It was understandable if Ivan was on a business trip, but now he was in Watertown, just half an hour's drive from the Winston Group and the Winston family.
What exactly was Ivan so busy with that he would completely neglect the four children and his wife?
Alfred felt conflicted, sighing once again.
The car quickly stopped at the entrance of the Winston Group building.
A tall building with a facade made of blue glass that mirrored the blue sky and white clouds, this high-rise was a Watertown landmark.
There were many office workers hurrying on the large square in front of the entrance. Even on a weekend, these people were still bustling for their lives.
"Alfred, we'll go in first, please wait for us here," Keith politely said.
Alfred nodded, saying, "Sure, take your time."
The four children used to come to the Winston Group frequently. Nothing untoward had happened before, so Alfred was confident in letting them go up alone.
As soon as the children appeared in the square, they attracted the attention of many people.
A month ago, the president of the Winston Group got married, and these four children had appeared in the news multiple times. Everyone knew they were the Winston family's children.
Keith at the front, was like a carbon copy of Ivan, not only in appearance but also in demeanor.
Many people wanted to approach him, but they hesitated due to Keith's cold and stern expression. Then the four children entered the Winston Group building.
Keith managed a subsidiary of the Winston Group, and he would come to report his work once a month. The receptionist recognized him.
Seeing him come in, the receptionist respectfully walked over to greet him. "Sir, what can I do for you?"
Keith calmly said, "I'm looking for my dad."
The receptionist smiled and said, "Sure, this way, please."
The four children followed the receptionist towards the private elevator for the president.
"Miss, does my dad come to the office every day?" Owen asked as they walked. He was cute and had a pleasant voice. His words warmed the receptionist's heart.
She didn't dare to speak first, but when Owen spoke to her, how could she not respond?
It was a great honor.
The receptionist, feeling flattered, said, "Mr. Winston is indeed at the office every day and has been working overtime for several days."
Owen blinked and said, "Does my dad do anything besides work?"
The receptionist carefully replied, "There is a leisure and entertainment room on the top floor of the building. Yesterday, Louis and Mark came over and played pool with Mr. Winston in the leisure room all afternoon."
Owen's eyes darkened.
"Did I say something wrong?" The receptionist's heart skipped a beat.
"No!" Owen shook his head, "Thank you for telling me this. I'll bring you a bouquet of flowers next time."
The receptionist blushed at Owen's words, feeling a bit shy. "Thank you. The elevator goes directly to the top floor. Take care. Goodbye."
The elevator doors closed slowly, and the four children inside had cold and stern expressions on their faces. In less than a minute, the elevator stopped on the top floor. The four children stepped out of the elevator and stood in the corridor.
