Chapter 1031
Ivan parked the car and stepped out.
He was dressed in a dark black suit with cuffs embroidered in dark gold thread. As he moved, the gold thread shimmered, exuding an inexplicable elegance and nobility.
Ivan opened the passenger door, gentlemanly and gently. "Camilla, get in."
Camilla bent down to sit in the passenger seat.
Just as she was about to fasten her seatbelt, Ivan suddenly leaned over and carefully helped her buckle it.
Camilla held her breath, not daring to move.
Ivan felt like laughing. Why did Camilla look so cute when she was nervous?
He didn't tease her but turned back to the driver's seat. The car started moving slowly.
"Camilla, have you been to Watertown before?" Ivan asked casually as he drove.
The way he called "Camilla" was so natural and familiar, as if they had been friends or in a relationship for a long time.
Camilla turned her head to look out the window. "No, this is my first time in Watertown."
"Watertown has many tourist attractions. I can take you around this afternoon," Ivan said.
"No need, I have other plans this afternoon."
Camilla declined flatly, turning her head to look at the fleeting scenery outside the window.
For some reason, she felt familiar with this road, as if she had been there countless times before.
Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of a villa halfway up the hill.
It was a three-story garden villa featuring a swimming pool at the entrance, a garden at the back, a spacious courtyard, and an observation deck, covering at least ten thousand square feet.
This was clearly a place only the wealthy could afford.
Camilla opened the car door and stepped out. As she took a step, she noticed four nine-year-old children standing in front of the villa's floor-to-ceiling windows.
Her eyes widened instantly. She couldn't see the children's faces clearly from far distance, but she felt an urgent impulse in her heart and quickened her pace.
In front of the living room window, the four children stood there.
Angela's eyes were full of tears, which uncontrollably rolled down her cheeks. Meanwhile, Owen, Todd, and Keith were all stunned.
"Is that Mommy?" Owen said blankly, "Is that what Mommy looks like?"
Angela nodded. "I was completely certain she was our Mommy at the first sight, so I immediately did a DNA test."
Owen was silent. The Mommy he found didn't look like this. Did he make a mistake?
"I finally understood Daddy's words last night." Owen's eyes widened, "Keith, Todd, why didn't you remind me earlier!"
He lowered his voice to question them. But Keith and Todd didn't react at all.
They were greedily watching Camilla getting closer and closer outside the window.
"I'm not the only one who did something stupid." Owen felt balanced. He quickly sent a message on his phone: [Bryan, I made a mistake. You don't need to meet that woman anymore.]
After saying that, he stuffed the phone into his pocket and rushed outside.
"Stop!" Keith grabbed him. "Don't scare Mommy away. Angela, wipe your tears. Let's go out together."
Angela nodded and forced her tears back.
The four children walked outside together.
"Welcome, Ms. Jenkins, to the Winston family."
