Samantha's face turned dark right away.
She had swallowed her pride to visit the Reynolds Mansion yesterday, only to be turned away at the door. In just two days, she had seen people's true colors.
Samantha said coldly, "Just tell them I'm busy."
"Mom, let them in," Nicole said with a cold smile. "The Reynolds family ignored us yesterday. Today, we'll give them a taste of their own medicine."
The servant glanced at Samantha, who didn't object. So, the servant went out to invite them in.
Ellen walked in wearing a drab dress, looking far less affluent. She whispered to Bradley beside her, "Be extra polite. The Jenkins family isn't what it was a couple of days ago."
Who would've thought the Jenkins family, on the brink of collapse yesterday, would bounce back overnight?

Ellen deeply regretted her arrogance in sending Samantha away yesterday.
Ellen thought she'd be kept outside today. To her surprise, the servant came over and respectfully welcomed her and Bradley inside.
"Mrs. Jenkins, I'm here today to apologize."
Ellen could be flexible, immediately lowering her stance and pulling Bradley beside her.
Bradley stepped forward and said, "I had a high fever yesterday. My mom was very anxious and asked Mrs. Jenkins to leave in a bad attitude. That was my fault. Please don't hold it against our Reynolds family for being rude."
Samantha smiled faintly. "No problem, have a seat."
She then asked the servant to bring coffee.
Ellen glanced at Camilla and Nicole sitting nearby and said softly, "Our Reynolds family and the Jenkins family have always had a marriage agreement. Now that the children are grown, why not consider it?"
Nicole suddenly sneered. "May I ask Mrs. Reynolds, which young lady of the Jenkins family do you intend to marry off?"
Ellen forced a smile. "Bradley is the only heir of our Reynolds family. Of course, he should marry the only heir of the Jenkins family."
Nicole immediately retorted, "For so many years, your Reynolds family looked down on the previous marriage agreement as the top family. Now that our Jenkins family is about to become wealthy, you bring it up again. How shameless can your Reynolds family be?"
"Nicole, shut up!"
Samantha calmly interrupted Nicole's rude remarks and turned to say, "Nicole is being spoiled by me. Please don't take it to heart, Mrs. Reynolds."
Ellen was so angry she almost died on the spot.
Everything Nicole said was what the Jenkins family wanted to say! She shouldn't have visited today!
"There's an old saying that success is not permanent," Ellen stood up and said angrily, "Your Jenkins family relies on the Winston Group to grow stronger. We'll see when the Winston Group will kick you away!"
