Chapter 1050

Cherry lost too much blood, and four hundred milliliters were simply not enough.

The nurse, however, didn't dare to draw more. She cautiously asked, "Miss Jenkins, are you okay?"

Camilla's head felt a bit dizzy.

She was a little unsteady, supporting her head with one hand, and forced herself to say, "I'm fine. Saving Cherry is more important."

The nurse drew another two hundred milliliters of blood. It was barely enough. If there were any more accidents, more blood would be needed.

The nurse softly said, "Can I have your contact information? If there are any issues with the follow-up treatment, we might need to contact you."

Camilla readily gave her phone number.

She pressed a cotton swab to her arm and stood up, but suddenly wobbled and sat back down.

The nurse quickly handed her a cup of sugar water. "Drink it all in one go, then lie down on the bed for a while. Don't rush to leave."

Even a strong man would feel weak after donating six hundred milliliters of blood, let alone a delicate woman like Camilla.

If Cherry urgently needed this blood to save her life, the nurse wouldn't have dared to proceed this way.

Camilla drank the sugar water and lay down on the bed. She fell into a deep sleep.

She didn't know how long she had slept when she suddenly woke up. It was already dark outside.

She had come in the morning, but it suddenly got dark.

She moved her arm and realized she was receiving an IV.

The nurse was taking care of her nearby. "Miss Jenkins, why didn't you tell me you had surgery three years ago? Your body can't afford to draw so much blood at once!"

Camilla mumbled, "The instructions said no surgery within a year was fine."

Even if she couldn't donate blood, she would have done it anyway. She would rather risk her own life than let Cherry die.

She didn't understand this sudden, inexplicable feeling.

The nurse was also puzzled. Unless it was a major surgery, it shouldn't have caused such severe consequences.

After Camilla donated blood, she suddenly fell into a deep sleep and couldn't be roused. The nurse quickly summoned a doctor, who discovered the situation was serious. Camilla had received at least two thousand milliliters of blood before, an amount typically required only after major surgery.

"Miss Jenkins, thank you so much!" At the door, Celeste walked in with tears in her eyes and grabbed Camilla's other hand. "Cherry's out of danger now all because of your blood, Miss Jenkins. Thank you so much. Our whole family doesn't know how to repay your kindness!"

Camilla felt relieved. "Anyone in this situation would spare no effort to help. There's no need to thank me."

The nurse shook her head. "Many people with rare blood types either wait to die or struggle to find a suitable donor who demands a lot of money. People like you are rare in this world."

Celeste was so grateful she didn't know what to say. "Miss Jenkins, I'll go downstairs to buy some food. What can she eat in this condition?"

"Get some porridge and soup," the nurse casually replied.

Celeste immediately went downstairs.

Camilla's lips curled into a smile. Cherry was out of danger, which was wonderful. Her mood instantly brightened at that moment.

Meanwhile, Nicole sat in the living room of the Jenkins Mansion and looked at the text messages on her phone, her brow furrowed tightly. Bryan had sent her several consecutive messages.

[I'm in Brussville. Can we meet?]

[Miss Jenkins, did you receive my message?]

[Miss Jenkins, I want to see you. There are some things I need to ask you in person.]
