Chapter 131 It Made Him Upset
"What are you doing?" Mary was shocked, trying to dodge, but the slippery bathtub made her slide back down. She struggled a bit before finally sitting still.
Matthew's hand pressed on her shoulder. He leaned in, his narrow eyes locked on her, a hint of red in them like he was barely holding something back.
"Mary, do you like Robert?" His voice was deep and heavy.
Mary was stunned, speechless.
How could Matthew ask that? Didn't he know who Mary liked? He barged into her home without permission, questioned her like that, and bullied her. No way she'd admit she wanted him!
"Does that bother you?" Mary's clear eyes stared right at Matthew, unafraid of his cold demeanor. "What? You have Laura, yet I can't like someone else?"
"No, you can't!" Matthew growled, grabbing her chin and kissing her fiercely.
Mary was shocked and struggled immediately.
Water splashed everywhere, but she couldn't get any leverage in the tub. And he, standing outside, easily overpowered her.
From the start, she was at a disadvantage.
"Let go..." Mary pushed, hit, and punched him. But it was useless.
Like a madman, he climbed into the tub. The space became cramped, and Matthew firmly controlled her.
Who knows how long it lasted, but Mary was exhausted. She heard his hoarse voice, "Stay away from Robert!"
Mary didn't have the strength to respond; she just closed her eyes.
After a while, everything stopped.
Matthew wrapped her in a towel, carried her out of the bathroom, placed her on the bed, and gazed at her sleeping face. He couldn't help but lean down and gently kiss her forehead.
An inexplicable emotion swept through him, shattering all his previous beliefs.
He only knew that seeing Mary and Robert together, laughing and talking, made him very upset!
"Bastard." Mary suddenly turned over, muttered something, and furrowed her brows.
Matthew stared at her, his lips pressed into a thin line.
The next day, Mary woke up feeling somewhat shattered.
She had to move out since it was not her house anymore!
How could Matthew get in even after she changed the lock and set a password?
After freshening up, she came out of the bedroom and saw Matthew coming out of the kitchen, holding two plates.
"You're up, come over and eat." He glanced at her, his deep, magnetic voice calm.
Mary stared at him coldly, "How the hell did you even get in here?"
