Chapter 413 I Don't Know You

The bone-chilling cold spread over, and Mary was moving a bit slow, but she still felt it.

"Who are you?" She struggled hard, but the hand gripping her arm was like an iron clamp, holding her tight, and it hurt!

"It hurts!" Mary cried out and fought even harder.

"Who are you? Let her go!" Sean saw what was happening and rushed forward to push Matthew away.

Matthew's sharp, handsome face was ice-cold. He looked at Mary, who seemed drunk, her eyes blurry, clothes half-wet, looking both innocent and tempting.

He thought, 'How dare she come here to drink and get herself in this state? Hugging and cuddling with other guys? She's got some nerve!'

Matthew held Mary tight, his deep voice cold as ice. "Mary, take a good look at who I am!"

He pinched her face, making her look up at him.

Seeing this, Sean got even more worried, his eyes cautious. "Sir, she doesn't even know you. Don't treat her like this, or I'll call the cops!"

Mary said, "Yeah, I don't know you at all. You creep, let me go!"

She pushed Matthew away and turned to Sean. "Make him leave!"

Matthew's face went dark.

She said she didn't know him, yet she was acting all sweet with another guy.

Matthew stepped forward and picked her up, his eyes sharp as he glared at Sean. "Get lost!"

Sean was so scared by his presence that he turned pale. He could tell Matthew was someone important.

But no matter how important Matthew was, he couldn't hurt a girl!

Sean stepped forward to block him. "Sir, she said she doesn't know you, so you can't take her away."

Matthew looked at him coldly. "And who the hell are you?"

Sean replied, "Doesn't matter who I am, but I won't let you take her just like that!"

Mary kept struggling. "Let go, let go of me! I don't know you! let go of me!"

Seeing this, Sean, who was already feeling unsure, decided to act. He blocked Matthew and took out his phone to call the police.

Matthew looked at the struggling Mary in his arms with cold eyes. He wanted to say or do something but didn't know where to start.

"Go ahead and call the cops." Matthew looked at Sean coldly.

Seeing that Matthew had no intention of letting Mary go, Sean really called the police.

"Sir, you should let her go, otherwise it won't be good when the cops arrive," Sean said, looking at Mary's resistant expression.

Matthew, however, looked at him coolly, and that gaze made Sean feel like his throat was being squeezed, the coldness making his soul tremble.

The police arrived quickly. After understanding the situation, they turned to Matthew. "Who are you to her?"

Sean said, "She said she doesn't know this guy."

Matthew coldly said, "Her husband."

Sean was stunned.

The two police officers were also stunned and asked, "Can you prove it?"

Matthew directly took out the marriage certificate from his pocket and handed it to the police.

Sean's eyes widened slightly at the sight.

Matthew was really her husband!

He had been stopping Matthew from taking her away, which was really embarrassing!
