Chapter 565 Kill Me

Mary stood still, not moving.

Matthew sneered, pulling her onto the bed, his heavy body trapping her, his hot breath pressing down.

Mary still showed no reaction.

When Matthew's breath was just close to her cheek, he stopped, looking into her excessively cold eyes, feeling an inexplicable sense of defeat.

The air froze for a moment.

Seeing him not move, Mary pushed him away and got off the bed. "Matthew, you're probably only interested in my body, right? What if my body is no longer interested in you? What if nothing you do can arouse my interest anymore?"

She walked to the door, and glanced back at him, "If it comes to that, how defeated you would feel."

She smirked sarcastically and then left the bedroom.

Matthew leaned against the headboard, his expression turned somber, reflecting his worst mood.

What did she mean?

Was her body not interested in him?

Ridiculous!

He knew exactly how sensitive her body was; he had a thousand ways to make her aroused!

But, thinking back to the recent scene.

Her eyes were only cold, her body unresponsive. If it were before, she would have struggled violently and would have been shy and angry.

The more he thought about it, the darker Matthew's expression became.

By the time he came out of the bedroom, Mary had already finished breakfast and was sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Matthew, let's talk."

Mary said calmly.

Matthew sneered, "Talk about what?"

Mary asked, "How long do you plan to keep playing?"

Hearing this, Matthew raised an eyebrow, seemingly not expecting her to say that.

Mary said, "I've thought about it. My constant escaping only makes you find it novel, and it might even implicate those around me. So, how about this: you name a condition, I'll try to agree, and we coexist peacefully until we can't anymore."

Matthew walked over, and leaned down, one hand on the couch, the other pinching her chin. Looking into her cold eyes, his gaze turned mocking.

"So, you're giving in to me?"

Mary said nothing, just looked at him calmly.

Matthew smirked, a familiar malicious smile, and said, "What if my condition is for you to stay by my side for a lifetime?"

Mary's beautiful eyebrows furrowed, "Did you hear what I just said? The things you've done to me before have made me terrified of sex. I might not be able to satisfy you anymore."

"Doesn't matter," he said indifferently, "As long as you're still a woman, you're useful to me, and I'll keep you around."

Mary thought she was calm enough, but hearing his words, anger resurfaced in her eyes.

Seeing her emotional fluctuation, Matthew's lips curled in satisfaction. His thumb brushed her lips, "That's more like it. Instead of being a walking corpse, be someone with feelings. Vent when you're unhappy, cry when you're sad. It ends the same way, so why suppress yourself?"

Mary's eyelashes trembled violently, "So, no matter what, you don't plan to let me go, right?"

"What are you talking about?" Matthew leaned down, and kissed the corner of her lips, "When I die, I won't be able to trap you anymore. Mary, you might as well try to kill me."

Madness gleamed in his eyes.
