Chapter 541 Tossed and Turned All Night

Herman bit her earlobe, "This is what you get for messing with me."

Shirley bit his shoulder in return, and what followed left her speechless.

Herman was such a jerk!

Mary had a good night's sleep.

Maybe it was because Shirley was beside her, she felt very at ease.

She opened her eyes and said, "Shirley, wake up. I'll make breakfast for you. What do you want to eat?"

As she spoke, she got up, but when she looked beside her, where was Shirley?

Mary was startled and hurriedly put on her shoes to go out and look for her.

But Shirley was not in the room at all.

She quickly took out her phone to call her, but Shirley's phone rang in the bedroom.

Mary's face immediately turned grim!

What was going on?

Where did Shirley go?

Why didn't she take her phone?

In modern society, you can go out without money, but not without your phone.

And when did Shirley leave?

Why didn't Mary have any impression of it?

As Mary was pondering, a knock on the door sounded.

Mary hurriedly walked over to open the door and saw Shirley standing at the door looking exhausted, completely listless.

"Shirley, where did you go?" Mary held her hand and asked.

Shirley tugged at the corner of her mouth and said, "I drank too much last night and felt uncomfortable. I woke up early and went out for a walk."

Was that so?

Mary looked at her suspiciously, noticing her strange walking posture and the heavy fatigue on her face.

"Are you okay?"

Mary was very worried.

Shirley waved her hand, "I'm fine. I didn't sleep well last night. I guess I need to quit drinking. I need to sleep now, Mary. You don't have to worry about me. Go to work."

With that, she returned to the bedroom, lay on the bed, and closed her eyes to sleep.

Damn it, Herman had sex with her all night!

It was as if he didn't care about his life, and he wouldn't let her sleep!

Mary covered her with a blanket, and as she was about to get up, she paused.

She saw the hickey on Shirley's neck.

The color was very vibrant, clearly from last night.

So, Shirley lied.

But since she didn't want to say, Mary wouldn't ask.

Silently leaving the room, she made breakfast, ate, and left the rest on the stove so Shirley could eat when she woke up.

She went out to work.

When she got to the underground garage, Mary's phone rang. She took it out and saw it was a call from Robert.

"Robert."

Mary picked up the call, her tone cheerful.

Robert, "Good morning. Are you free now? I want to introduce you to two bodyguards."

Mary checked the time and said, "Not right now. How about noon? I'm going to be late for work."

Robert, "Sure, no problem."

After hanging up, Mary drove to work.

Near noon, Mary called Robert and arranged a meeting place.

It was at the restaurant downstairs from her company.

Robert arrived quickly, with two tall bodyguards behind him.

Mary stood up, "Robert."

Robert waved his hand, "Don't be so formal. It makes me look like a mob boss. Let's sit and talk."

Mary smiled. To be honest, Robert's presence did have a bit of a mob boss vibe.

Robert looked at the two bodyguards and said, "From now on, you two are responsible for her safety. Introduce yourselves."
