Mary and Sophia looked over and saw Joan walking out in a beautiful gown. She wore a diamond tiara on her head, exuding confidence and beauty, with elegance in every gesture.
Beside her was Laura, and behind her were Herman and Matthew.
Mary's expression froze.
Sophia glanced at her and said, "Joan has been playing with Herman and Matthew since they were kids. Because of the relationship between their families, they took good care of Joan. Later, Joan grew up and fell in love with Herman. She has been pursuing him relentlessly for years. I heard Herman plans to get engaged to Joan."
