Chapter 301 So Much Strength, Why Not Do Something Else?

The bodyguards were dead silent, with sweat dripping down their faces.

Matthew glared at Mary's back, looking all dark and moody. Outta nowhere, he stepped up and scooped her up.

Mary freaked out. "What the hell are you doing?"

Matthew didn't say a word, just carried her back to the suite. Michael saw this and quickly grabbed Mary's luggage, then dipped out and shut the door.

Matthew tossed Mary onto the bed. Before she could even react, he was on top of her.

Mary fought back hard.

Matthew's long legs pinned her down. His hand clamped her wrists tight.

"With all that fight, why don't we do something else?" Matthew's deep black eyes locked onto hers, his voice low and rough.

Mary's chest heaved with anger, her eyes blazing. "Matthew, why are you such a jerk? Why do you always have to get your way? Don't my feelings matter at all?"

Matthew stared at her intensely and said, "Of course they matter."

Mary's breath caught. "Then let me go."

But Matthew said, "If you don't leave, I'll let go."

Mary was so mad she laughed!

She cursed silently in her mind, 'He talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk! So despicable! Why should I stay with a guy like him? Why didn't I just get a divorce back then and let him torment Laura?'

As if reading her mind, Matthew's face darkened, and he kissed her wildly and fiercely.

Mary was caught off guard and was deeply kissed by him.

She was furious but couldn't break free.

As Matthew kissed her, his mood lightened, and his kisses became gentler.

It wasn't until he felt her body soften that he let her go.

"Mary, stay by my side obediently, and I will never let you die."

Mary closed her eyes, refusing to talk to him.

Matthew kissed the tip of her nose, then got up and left.

Mary's eyelashes trembled. She turned over and wrapped herself in the blanket.

She really couldn't stand Matthew, yet she couldn't escape.

Three days later, Matthew had finished handling matters here. Next, he would send others to continue the inspection and sign the investment contract.

He no longer needed to stay in Lindenville.

They set off back to Lindwood City.

The bodyguard put Mary's suitcase in the car.

Matthew grabbed her hand, "What are you thinking?"

Mary looked at their hands clasped together but said nothing.

Matthew looked at her for a moment, then led her into the car.

As soon as they left Lindenville, his phone rang. He took it out and his face turned a bit colder.

It was a call from Jenny.

"Hello?"

He answered, his tone a bit colder.

Jenny said, "Matthew, I'm going abroad. Do you want to come see me off?"

So much time had passed, and Jenny still hadn't apologized to Mary.

In business, Matthew had directly taken measures to sanction the Johnsons. Now, their situation was very precarious.

Donovan couldn't make Jenny change her mind, so he had to send her abroad, lowering his stance to beg Matthew to spare them.

Matthew's tone grew even colder, "It seems you don't care about the Johnsons at all."

Jenny's voice took on a crying tone, "Matthew, why are you so heartless? I like you so much, and now you're targeting my family for Mary. Our family helped you back then!"

Matthew said coolly, "So what?"

Jenny was at a loss for words. It was then she realized Matthew was a cold-hearted person!
