Chapter 616 Ms. Johnson, did you remember everything?

Mary ordered all the dishes that Matthew liked, then handed the menu back to the waiter and looked at Jessica, "Ms. Johnson, did you remember everything?"

Jessica was taken aback, seemingly not expecting Mary to say these things to teach her.

Jessica brooded, 'What the heck? Mary actually did that?'

Matthew's eyes turned cold upon hearing Mary's words, and the atmosphere around him dropped a few degrees.

Mary, however, seemed unfazed and calmly said, "So you won't have to ask him next time. You should know by now, he's not much of a talker."

Jessica felt inexplicably annoyed, "You don't need to worry about that. We've been together long enough; I'll naturally notice these things."

"That's good then." Mary nodded.

She then turned to Matthew and asked, "Have you thought about what I mentioned before?"

Matthew's handsome and sharp face turned cold, and he didn't even look at her.

Mary blinked and then looked at Jessica, saying, "See? He's very rude."

An untimely voice sounded.

Maria quickly turned her head, tightly pressing her lips together, trying to lower her presence and avoid drawing any attention.

Mary simply sat down next to them and started dining again when the waiter brought the dishes.

Jessica couldn't hold back and asked, "Ms. Smith, didn't you just eat?"

Mary replied, "Yes, I wasn't full, and those dishes weren't very good, so I'm trying these."

Jessica fell silent. She tightened her grip on the utensils and looked at Matthew, wanting to see his reaction.

But he just lowered his eyes, making it hard to discern his emotions.

Jessica contemplated, 'Aren't they already divorced? Why doesn't he just get rid of this annoying Mary? Her presence here is really ruining my appetite!'

"I'm full; you two take your time."

Mary finished her meal, smiled slightly at the two of them, then stood up and said to Maria, "I'm going to the restroom, let's leave together afterward."

Maria nodded, "Okay."

Mary came out of the restroom and stood in front of the mirror washing her hands.

Jessica's reflection appeared in the mirror; her face looked displeased as she gazed at Mary with disdain.

"Ms. Smith, isn't what you're doing a bit self-degrading?"

Mary washed her hands, took a paper towel to dry them, and said lightly, "Really? I think it's fine."

Jessica said, "You two are already divorced, isn't it shameless to keep clinging to him?"

Mary threw the paper towel into the trash and turned to her, "We're divorced, not committing some heinous crime. Besides, we're both single. How dare you publicly insult me? You're shameless!"

"You!"

Jessica's face darkened. She remembered that Mary wasn't this sharp-tongued before!

How did she change so much?

Could it be that she wants to remarry Matthew?

That was absolutely impossible!

Jessica walked closer, her eyes colder and more challenging, "Mary, Matthew doesn't want you anymore, and you're still desperately clinging to him. It's truly shameless."

Mary's eyes turned cold, and she suddenly raised her hand and slapped Jessica.
