Chapter 460 You Have to Divorce Her Tomorrow

Just then, Matthew's phone buzzed. He pulled it out and saw it was a surveillance video.

Maria had dug up the footage from the time of the incident.

Matthew hit play and saw that, just like Mary said, someone had pushed Victoria's wheelchair.

But the person was in a blind spot, so the camera didn't catch who it was.

The wheelchair rolled down the slope and was stopped by a masked waiter. The guy had his head down, so Matthew couldn't see his face, but he was tall.

Matthew frowned.

He quickly typed out a message and sent it.

He looked up at Mary and asked, "You tired?"

Mary bit her lip and said, "Yeah, I wanna get out of here."

But Matthew shook his head, "Not yet. You can't leave now."

Mary frowned, "What do you mean? You don't believe me?"

Seeing her getting upset, Matthew explained, "I believe you, but this isn't over. You should at least see how it ends before you go."

Mary still felt frustrated.

He never truly believed her, yet even so, he refused to bring up divorce.

Mary just felt utterly exhausted.

As time went on, the guests slowly left. Montagu Manor got quiet.

Richard saw off the last guest, and as soon as the gate closed, his face turned dark. "Bring Matthew and Mary down here!"

He sat on the living room sofa, looking stern.

Linda sat next to him. "Richard, don't get angry. You need to take care of your health."

Richard didn't say anything, but his expression got even grimmer.

Soon, footsteps came from the stairs, and Matthew and Mary walked down.

Matthew had already ditched his suit jacket, his shirt collar open, looking a bit impatient. "Isn't it a bit much to bother us this late?"

Richard slapped the table and snapped, "Who let her out? Matthew, she hurt your beloved grandmother! Are you just gonna let her off easy?"

Matthew sat on the sofa, grabbed Mary's hand, and asked, "You say Mary hurt her? Did you see it?"

Richard insisted, "Someone saw it!"

Just then, the butler came over with two servants, the same ones who first saw Victoria's wheelchair about to tip over.

Richard snorted, "They saw it. Still wanna argue?"

Matthew looked at the two servants and asked, "Did you see Mary push the wheelchair with your own eyes?"

"Yes, Mr. Montagu, I saw it with my own eyes!"

"That's right, I saw it too!"

The two servants replied.

Matthew narrowed his eyes and sneered, "The Montagu Family really hired a bunch of useless people. If you saw it, why didn't you stop it?"

The two servants were stunned and felt the cold, powerful vibe coming from Matthew, their faces turning pale!

Richard, however, changed the topic, "They messed up, but the real problem is her!"

He pointed at Mary and demanded, "You have to divorce her tomorrow, Matthew. A woman like that doesn't deserve to be your wife!"

Mary's breath caught. She suddenly wondered, if she really did it, would Matthew then divorce her?
