Chapter 195 Enchanting Charm and Resentment

Mary shoved him hard, but he was too strong to budge. His fresh, intense scent surrounded her, making it hard to breathe.

Just as Mary was about to pass out, he finally let go. His nose brushed hers, and he watched her panting, eyes red. His Adam's apple bobbed, and then he got out of the car.

Mary was so drained from the kiss she couldn't even move.

Her eyes flashed with a mix of allure and anger. Matthew, that jerk!

But Matthew didn't let her out of the car, so she stayed put.

Mary thought, 'No way am I apologizing to Laura! Never!'

Unfortunately, Cindy saw them kissing. Furious, she snapped a photo and stormed off to Laura's hospital room.

Seeing Cindy rush in, Laura asked, "What's wrong?"

"I'm so mad! That witch is seducing Matthew in the parking lot!"

Cindy showed Laura the photo.

Laura's face darkened as she looked at the picture of them kissing.

Even though she and Matthew almost got married, he never kissed her like that!

He held Mary like he wanted to merge with her. His obsession cut Laura deeply.

Her nails dug into her flesh, the pain keeping her calm.

Seeing her reaction, Cindy said, "Laura, you need to make Matthew divorce her fast. Who knows what other tricks that witch will pull? Men love that!"

Laura handed the phone back to Cindy. "Cindy, I need you to do something for me."

She couldn't believe that even after the kidnapping, Matthew didn't hate Mary!

Laura mused, 'I have even threatened him to suicide, yet Matthew still kissed Mary like that! It is infuriating!

Matthew is mine! No one can take him away from me!'

Cindy's eyes lit up, and she nodded, "Okay."

Just then, the hospital room door opened, and Matthew walked in.

Seeing him, Laura put on a fragile expression and smiled sweetly, "Matthew, you're here."

Matthew said, "Didn't you say you weren't feeling well?"

Laura replied, "Seeing you makes me feel better. Matthew, can you stay with me?"

Cindy had already left, closing the door behind her.

Matthew sat on a chair, his eyes cool. "Laura, there's nothing wrong with you, so you don't need to stay in the hospital."

Laura's smile froze. "But I don't feel well. I keep having nightmares about that night. Matthew, I'm really scared."

She moved closer, trying to lean into his arms.

But Matthew raised his hand, glanced at his watch, and said indifferently, "I have to go to work. If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now."

Laura's eyes suddenly reddened. "Matthew, will you still marry me? Why are you so cold to me?"

"I will," Matthew said in a deep voice.

Laura moved closer. "Then kiss me, okay?"

'Kiss me like you kissed Mary. I want that kind of deep, bone-melting intimacy too!' she thought.
