Chapter 503 Locked Her Up
The sunlight was just right, slanting softly onto the snow-white walls of the hospital room.
Victoria sat on the hospital bed, with Laura beside her, feeding her fruit.
Mary stood at a moderate distance and said lightly, "Mrs. Montagu."
Victoria didn't even glance at her and said to Laura, "It's a good time now, can you push me out for a walk?"
Laura nodded, "Sure."
She and the nurse helped Victoria off the bed and into a wheelchair, then pushed her out of the room.
As they passed by Mary, Laura glanced at her, a cold smile appearing in her eyes.
Mary frowned slightly, and turned to follow, but was stopped by the bodyguard at the door.
"Mrs. Montagu instructed that you wait here."
Mary's heart sank, a bad feeling rising within her.
She took two steps back, waited for the door to close, and took out her phone to contact someone, but there was no signal!
This room had a signal jammer installed!
Mary's expression immediately turned grim!
What did Victoria mean by this?
Why was she being locked in here?
She couldn't understand!
The bodyguard at the door wouldn't let her leave, so she had no choice but to stay and wait.
Sitting on the sofa, time passed by slowly, the sunset gradually fading, and Victoria still hadn't returned.
Mary got up and stood by the window, looking at the bustling traffic outside.
The floor was too high; she couldn't jump down.
She went back to the door to try to leave, but the bodyguard still blocked her.
She directly asked, "Where did Mrs. Montagu go?"
The Bodyguard replied, "I don't know."
She added, "Then can you take me to find Mrs. Montagu?"
The bodyguard didn't speak or move aside, his attitude very firm.
Mary's expression grew even more grim.
These bodyguards weren't Matthew's people, so she didn't dare act rashly.
Feeling helpless, she returned to the sofa to continue waiting.
When she got tired, she lay on the hospital bed to sleep.
The environment here was fine, except she was a bit hungry.
Shirley arrived at Maple Grove Manor, and entered the password to get into the room, but didn't see Mary, and there were no shoes at the door.
"Still not back?" she was puzzled and took out her phone to call Mary.
But the call couldn't get through.
What was going on?
Shirley frowned, thinking about what had happened to Mary before, her face turned a bit pale!
She immediately left to go to Mary's workplace.
But everyone there had already left for the day!
Mary was missing!
Shirley was anxiously pacing when a car slowly pulled up by the roadside.
Robert's handsome and delicate face appeared, looking at her and asking, "Shirley, what's wrong?"
Seeing him, Shirley felt like she had found support and immediately said, "Mary is missing!"
Hearing this, Robert frowned, "Get in the car first, and tell me what happened slowly."
Shirley quickly explained the situation.
Robert also tried calling Mary, but couldn't get through. He immediately contacted his people to start tracking Mary's whereabouts.
Worried and scared, Shirley gripped the seatbelt tightly and asked him, "Robert, Mary won't be in trouble, right?"
Robert comforted her, "Don't worry, she definitely won't be in trouble."
About half an hour later, Robert's phone rang. He glanced at it and then said, "I've found her."
