Chapter 643 Give Me One More Chance

Her tone was very indifferent, struggling to avoid his touch.

Matthew, however, directly grabbed her hand, placed it in front of her, and said, "Smell it yourself; you stink."

Mary paused and actually sniffed.

There was no strange smell.

Her clear eyes showed a bit of coldness as she looked at him, "I don't need it. If I stink, that's my own business."

What did it have to do with him?

Matthew, however, continued to wipe her down, "Mary, you might as well be like before, don't resist. The result will be the same anyway."

Mary was furious, looking coldly at Matthew's face. She sneered, "Despicable."

After saying that, she closed her eyes and ignored him.

Since he wanted to wipe her down and she couldn't avoid it, whatever!

If he insisted on being so shameless, how could she stop him?

Matthew paused, his eyes suddenly darkened, and he looked at her for a long time before continuing to wipe her body.

He even unbuttoned her clothes to wipe inside, and she did not resist.

However, her body was wrapped in bandages, and she was extremely thin. After he finished wiping, he felt nothing but a dull pain in his heart.

An hour later.

He carried the basin back to the bathroom.

Mary was already drowsy.

At that moment, the blanket was suddenly lifted, a cool breeze rushed in, and a male presence approached.

She suddenly opened her eyes and looked at him, "What are you doing?"

Matthew said, "The sofa is uncomfortable to sleep on. Your bed is so big, share half with me."

"No." Mary refused.

Matthew, however, acted as if he didn't hear her, lay down beside her, and closed his eyes.

Mary struggled to get up, but the pain from her wound made her gasp.

Matthew asked, "What are you doing?"

Seeing this, Matthew reached out to pull her back onto the hospital bed.

Mary's face was pale with pain, "I don't want to sleep in the same bed as you."

Matthew propped himself up, looking at the disgust and resistance on her face, suddenly leaned closer, his eyes dark and intense.

Mary was startled, holding her breath, her watery eyes wary of him.

"Mary."

After a while, he suddenly spoke, his voice low, "Mary, if I change for the better now, can you give me a chance?"

Mary's pupils contracted violently, seemingly not expecting him to say that.

Seeing her reaction, Matthew continued, "I admit I was too awful before, did many things that hurt and upset you. I'll change for the better and never do those things again. Can you give me another chance, please?"

His tone was low, with a hint of seduction.

Mary's breathing became erratic, but she quickly calmed down and said coldly, "Matthew, it's meaningless. I am unwilling to be with you."

Matthew's eyes were filled with a violent red rage, but he forcibly restrained himself and said, "It's okay; I'll stay by your side until you accept me."

With that, he got up, covered her with the blanket, and then lay down on the sofa.

He was tall and long-legged, and indeed looked a bit cramped on the sofa.

Mary closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling, her heart filled with bitterness and sadness.

After everything that had happened, what was the point of saying this now?

She had long stopped loving him.
