Chapter 613 You Killed Him
Mary held her breath, feeling that Matthew was truly unpredictable!
But the matter wasn't resolved yet, and she couldn't give up just like that.
Especially after chatting with Lisa today, she felt even more guilty and remorseful. If it weren't for her, Lisa wouldn't be suffering like this.
Mary slowly exhaled and said, "Matthew, why don't you want to talk to me? Is it because my voice is unpleasant? How about I speak more gently?"
Matthew remained silent.
His brows furrowed. It seemed he really couldn't let her interact with Shirley too much; she was being led astray.
Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed her, pulling her in and slamming the door shut, pressing her against the door.
Mary let out a soft hum, not quite able to react to his sudden move.
Matthew looked at her intently, "Alright, let's see you be gentle."
"I..." Mary was about to speak, but under his gaze, she was at a loss for words.
His gaze was too dangerous.
"Why aren't you being gentle? Weren't you quite bold just now?" Matthew looked at her coldly, his eyes full of mockery.
Mary sighed, "Matthew, what are you doing? You're the one targeting others, yet you're also the one being unreasonable?"
Matthew pinched her chin, his handsome and sharp face showing a hint of danger, "Mary, you know exactly what you did today."
Hearing this, Mary frowned, "You followed me?"
Matthew's expression grew colder.
Mary pushed his hand away and said, "Even if you want to target Sean, his mother is innocent. Because of me, his mother suffered a lot. It is right for me to visit her. Matthew, I'm not like you; I'm not that cruel."
Staring into her eyes, Matthew sneered, "If that's the case, why don't you learn your lesson?"
"What?" Mary's brows furrowed. "What do you mean?"
Matthew said, "The reason I'm doing this is because I can't stand you being close to Sean. If you're smart, stay away from him, and I naturally won't target him. Mary, the reason he's going through this is indeed because of you."
Mary found it both absurd and infuriating, but she held back her anger. "So, I can't even have a friend, right?"
"That's right!" Matthew stared at her intently, "From the beginning, you should have known this."
Mary smirked, "Then why don't you just lock me up? That way, I won't come into contact with anything, not even be considered a person!"
With that, she turned and opened the door, walking out directly.
It was another unhappy parting.
Matthew's face darkened, and he tugged at his tie, still feeling a stifling sensation in his chest.
Lock her up?
That was actually a good idea!
Mary returned home, her face still looking bad. Shirley noticed and asked, "What's wrong?"
Mary said, "Nothing, I just ran into a jerk."
Shirley blinked, "The jerk you're talking about, it wouldn't be Matthew, would it?"
Mary sneered, "You're really smart."
Shirley's mouth twitched asshe sighed, "He's the only one who can make your emotions swing this wildly. This can't continue. How about this: you kill him, and we all die together, end of story. What do you think?"
Mary remained silent.
