Chapter 659 What Do You Think You Are?

At this point, he was still threatening her.

Did he really think she would be scared?

"No problem,."

Joey smirked and then stepped out onto the balcony to make a call.

Shirley grabbed Mary's hand excitedly. "Mary, you're about to be free!"

Mary gave a faint smile and glanced at Matthew.

He kept his eyes downcast, his face still strikingly handsome and sharp. His aura was cold and unapproachable, and no one knew what he was thinking at that moment.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

It was room service delivering their meal.

Shirley got up to help, arranging the dishes on the dining table. She walked over to support Mary.

"Come on, let's dine."

"Okay." Mary responded softly.

Robert also walked over, supporting Mary and constantly watching her expression.

Fortunately, it was only a few steps from the living room to the dining room. Mary sat down and looked at the others. "You all stop fussing and come eat."

Shirley pulled out the chair next to her and was about to sit down, but in the next second, she was pushed aside as Matthew sat down right next to Mary.

Shirley stumbled, nearly falling, and glared at Matthew, wishing she could yank him up.

Matthew's expression remained indifferent, seemingly unaffected by the hostile atmosphere.

He picked up the utensils, glanced at the dishes on the table, and then started placing food into Mary's bowl.

Robert's brow furrowed.

Joey walked over and saw this scene, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Mr. Montagu,  you know how to act close."

Matthew's expression was calm. "This isn't acting close. She's my wife, and this is my home. Why should I be so polite in my own home?"

Joey had no response.

Shirley scoffed. "Can't you see you're not welcome? How shameless can you be?"

Matthew remained indifferent. "Why should I care what you all think? Who do you think you are?"

"How dare you!" Shirley's face turned darkened.

Mary looked at Matthew and said calmly, "Didn't you come here to talk about the divorce?"

Matthew nodded. "Yes."

Mary said, "Now that we've talked, you can leave."

Matthew smirked. "But I'm hungry, and there's food here. Why should I leave?"

Seeing the playful glint in his eyes, Mary was at a loss for words.

It was pointless to deal with someone so shameless.

Even though their dislike for him was so obvious, he still didn't care.

What did he care about?

No one knew.

In just a short while, her bowl had piled up with a small mountain of her favorite dishes.

Matthew was still adding more. She frowned. "Stop it. I can serve myself."

"Alright."

Matthew glanced at her bowl and stopped, focusing on his own meal.

Mary closed her eyes, deciding not to argue with him anymore.

The meal was ordered by Robert, and she couldn't just waste it. That would be disrespectful to Robert's effort.

The atmosphere at the table was tense, and no one looked happy.

Except for Matthew, who continued as if nothing was wrong.

He dined quickly but with an elegance that seemed ingrained in him since childhood.

He occasionally observed Mary, and whenever she ate more of a particular dish, he would serve her more of it.

"I'm full." Mary had lost her appetite and put down her utensils.
