Chapter 450 Going to See Victoria

Matthew glanced over and saw Mary's indifferent face. Her beautiful almond-shaped eyes were now filled with icy coldness.

If he let her leave now, she'd walk away without a second thought.

Matthew's handsome face darkened, and he tried to comfort her in a low voice, "Don't take his words to heart."

Mary looked at him, curling her lips into a sarcastic smile. "Matthew, all this mess is because of you. You owe me."

Matthew asked, "Do you really need money that badly?"

Mary shrugged. "I've given up on love. Can't I at least want money?"

Hearing this, Matthew's expression grew even darker, and the air around him turned icy.

Mary looked away and asked, "Where's Grandma?"

Matthew also looked away, trying to calm himself down.

'She doesn't want love anymore? No way, is that something she can just give up?' He thought.

Matthew led her upstairs to a room on the second floor. The door was open, and a few people were inside. Herman was beside Victoria, cracking jokes to make her laugh.

"Grandma," Matthew walked in.

A smile appeared on Mary's face. "Grandma."

Victoria's cloudy eyes immediately brightened when she saw Mary, and she waved her over, "Mary, you're finally here! I've missed you so much!"

Mary walked over, holding Victoria's hand with a sweet smile. "Grandma, I've missed you too."

Victoria looked at Mary and suddenly asked with concern, "Mary, have you lost weight? Has Matthew been starving you? How could he be so mean? If he bullies you, you should divorce him!"

Mary laughed outright, "Okay, I'll listen to you, Grandma. You'll have to help me then."

Victoria agreed, "Alright."

Matthew chimed in helplessly, "Grandma, if she divorces me, you won't get to see her anymore."

Victoria was taken aback for a moment, then tightly held Mary's hand. "No, you can't get divorced. You need to live well together!"

Mary fell silent.

Victoria looked at Matthew. "You need to treat her well, or I'll give you a good beating!"

Matthew nodded. "Yes."

Off to the side, Herman watched the scene, took out his phone, and snapped a photo. He then showed it to Victoria. "Grandma Montagu, how about this photo? Would you like it as your phone wallpaper?"

Victoria looked down at the photo, "Yes, I would. It is good. Matthew and Mary are both in it. I'll use it as my wallpaper!"

Herman smiled and set it up for her.

Mary took out the amulet and handed it to Victoria. "Grandma, happy birthday."

Victoria cherished the amulet. "Thank you, I'll be happy, and you should be happy too."

Mary's eyes softened.

The guests needed some time to socialize, and the banquet was set up in the courtyard. When the time came, someone wheeled Victoria out.

As Victoria's only grandson, Matthew accompanied her, and Mary naturally followed behind him.

Richard and Linda were also by Victoria's side, and the family appeared before everyone.

Most people were surprised when they saw Mary.
