Chapter 741 Durian, Stinky Tofu, Blood Sausage
Mary froze in place.
They were on a busy street, people bustling around.
If she struggled any more, Matthew might actually do it!
Mary's expression turned icy, but she stopped resisting.
Matthew's lips curled into a satisfied smile as he held her hand and walked down the street.
After a while, Mary asked coldly, "How long are you gonna keep this up?"
Matthew looked at her, "Forever."
Mary scoffed, "In your dreams."
Matthew's eyes were serious, "I'm not dreaming. I'm telling the truth. I'll hold your hand and walk with you for the rest of my life."
Mary decided to ignore him.
The smell from the street vendors wafted over, and Mary's stomach growled. She walked straight towards a food stall.
Matthew was dragged along to a stall selling stinky tofu. Her eyes lit up as she bought a serving.
The smell was really strong.
Matthew's face fell immediately.
Mary took the stinky tofu, glanced at him, and said, "Let go, I need to eat."
Matthew looked at the stinky tofu in her hand, unable to comprehend, but he let go of her hand. "How can you eat that stuff? Doesn't it make you sick?"
"Nope." Mary shook her head. "I think it's delicious. And after I eat it, I'll smell awful. If you can't stand it, you should stay away from me."
Matthew's face turned grimmer further, but he didn't say anything and continued to follow her.
Mary finished the stinky tofu and bought a piece of durian, which smelled even stronger.
After eating the durian, she still wasn't satisfied and went straight into a shop selling blood sausage.
Matthew stopped outside, not going in.
His face was grim.
Memories flashed through Matthew's mind. She used to love eating these things, and he would stay by her side, even if he didn't like them.
Matthew was silent for a moment, then walked inside.
Mary started slurping noodles and looked up to see Matthew sitting across from her.
She was a bit surprised, "Why'd you come in? I thought you couldn't stand it."
Matthew looked at her coldly, "Just eat."
Mary smiled, seeing his discomfort made her happy.
After finishing the blood sausage, Mary's smell was truly complex.
She reached out her hand, smiling at Matthew, "Wanna hold hands?"
She pointed to her lips, "Wanna kiss?"
Matthew was furious.
Mary was definitely doing this on purpose.
After a while, seeing Matthew not moving, a smug look flashing in Mary's eyes, she turned to leave.
If she had known this would work, she would have done it sooner!
Matthew stared at Mary's back for a long time before following her.
Across the street, in a car.
Rebecca watched the two walking one after the other, her eyes filled with jealousy!
How infuriating!
Matthew went, but Mary didn't. Why was it so hard for them to get divorced?
No, she had to find a way to get Matthew. Then, no matter how much they didn't want to divorce, they would have to!
Mary wandered around, bought a bunch of stuff, and put it in the car before getting ready to leave.
But Matthew opened the passenger door and got in.
Mary looked at him, "What are you doing?"
Matthew said, "No place to stay, so I'm crashing with you."
Mary's mouth twitched, "But I don't want to crash with you."
Matthew showed no intention of getting out, clearly planning to stay.
