Chapter 188 She Deserved to Die!
Thinking about Mary's cold attitude, Matthew felt a tightness in his chest, really uncomfortable.
He tugged at his collar, trying to ease the feeling, but it didn't help.
Matthew walked out of the hospital; the sky was dark and gloomy.
The driver had already parked the car at the entrance.
Matthew got in and dialed Mary's number again. Her phone was still off.
Frustrated, he called Michael. "Find out where Mary is right now."
Michael replied, "Got it."
He didn't dare delay.
An hour ago, Sam had been carried out, beaten black and blue.
Sam had offended Mary.
Matthew was pissed off.
Michael's expression turned serious, and he ordered his men to investigate.
Robert and his friends were driving sports cars, roaring past a taxi. His friend in the passenger seat laughed, "Robert, did you see that? The taxi's engine is almost smoking. What's the rush?"
Robert glanced at it. The taxi was fast, but not as fast as the sports cars. As he looked away, he noticed a hand on the taxi's rear window.
Robert mused, 'It is a woman's hand, slender and fair, gripping the window tightly, which seemed odd.'
Robert didn't think much of it. He stepped on the gas and quickly caught up with the car in front.
They stopped on the mountain road, got out, and started bantering.
Robert squinted, peering into the distance. For some reason, he thought of that hand again. It felt strangely familiar.
Annoyed, he got back into the car, saying, "I have something to do, you guys go ahead and play."
With that, he drove off quickly in his sports car.
Mary felt herself thrown to the ground, then dragged forward, her arm scraping against the ground, burning with pain.
She opened her eyes and found herself in an abandoned factory, with dilapidated walls and wind blowing from all sides. She felt weak and could only be dragged forward.
Roy dragged her inside the factory and stopped. He saw Mary had woken up and gave a cold, sinister smile.
"You're awake, huh?"
Mary, covered in dust, coughed violently and asked, "Who are you? Why did you capture me?"
She always thought she was in trouble because of Matthew. Otherwise, she had no enemies and couldn't imagine being targeted.
But now it seemed that wasn't the case.
Roy was after her.
Mary wondered, 'What did I done to offend him?Why does he want to kill me?'
Roy grabbed her hair and slapped her face. "Little bitch, you actually forgot me. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been captured back then!"
His eyes were filled with intense hatred, and murderous intent spread in his gaze. He whipped out a knife and started gesturing with it towards Mary.
"I was in prison for ten years, thinking every single day that the first thing I'd do when I got out was kill you!"
The knife touched Mary's face. "I'll ruin your face first, turn you into an ugly freak."
Mary didn't dare to move. Her cheek burned with pain, and blood oozed from the corner of her mouth. Her breathing trembled, "I really don't know you. Who are you?"
Roy got even angrier!
'The person I had hated for ten years didn't even know who I am!
You are truly despicable! Bitch, You deserve to die!' Roy thought.
