Chapter 525 Did They Make Love?
The tense atmosphere vanished, replaced by a chilling atmosphere!
Matthew and Mary looked over simultaneously and saw Sean walking out with a towel wrapped around his waist. His short hair was wet, his body lean but covered with slim muscle, youthful yet powerful.
Mary's wrist was suddenly grabbed, and she was yanked over with great force. Matthew's cold voice came through, "Mary, what are you doing, hiding a man in the house?"
At that moment, Matthew was surrounded by a dangerous aura, he glared at Mary, as if he could burn a hole through her with his eyes!
Endless anger spread and permeated his chest!
She brought a man home!
He arrived just in time. If he hadn't come to see her tonight, would they have made love?
And she even made a whole table of food so graciously!
He felt that he had been too indulgent with her!
Mary winced in pain, her face turning a shade paler. She struggled to pull her wrist back, but Matthew's grip was too strong, causing her even more pain!
"What are you freaking out for? He saved me today, I..."
Matthew said coldly, "Why did he save you? What happened to you? Why didn't you tell me?"
His imposing manner was aggressive, and the dangerous aura made Mary's heart race!
She was still afraid of him!
Because he was a madman!
If provoked, he could do anything!
Sean walked over at that moment and said seriously, "Mr. Montagu, let her go first. Can't you see she's in pain?"
Matthew kicked Sean immediately!
Sean staggered back, his face turning pale!
"Sean!"
Seeing this, Mary's eyes went wide for a moment, and she forcefully shook off Matthew's hand, rushing over to support Sean. "Are you okay?"
Sean weakly shook his head, "I'm fine."
But he was clearly in pain, with sweat beading on his forehead!
Sean said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause such a misunderstanding. I saw there was a dryer in your bathroom, so I washed and dried my clothes. They'll be ready to wear soon."
Mary said, "You don't need to explain, I understand."
"Mary, come here!"
Matthew's angry voice came through, and a chill swept through the whole room!
Mary trembled, then she looked at Matthew, calmed her emotions, and said, "It's not what you think. Today, when I was getting off work, someone tried to hurt me. Sean showed up and saved me, but he got injured while doing so. I was just expressing my gratitude by inviting him over for dinner."
As she spoke, she felt more aggrieved, her eyes reddening. He had judged her without listening to her explanation!
She was exhausted!
Matthew's face remained grim, "Come here, don't make me repeat myself a third time!"
Seeing her so close to Sean made him feel irritated!
Mary didn't go but helped Sean up, "Are you okay?"
Sean shook his head, "I'm fine."
His gaze on Mary was very focused, with emotions only a man could understand.
Matthew saw this, and his face turned even darker. He said coldly, "Fine, won't you listen to me?"
His gaze turned more vicious, "If you don't want him dead, come over here!"
Mary was shaking all over and she had no choice but to let go of Sean.
