Chapter 648 The Beautiful Woman
Mary looked at her with a puzzled expression.
Shirley chuckled and said, "I'll tell you later; it's not convenient right now."
Mary remained silent and was curious about the reason for her excitement.
Maria picked up the bag and said to Mary, "These are nutritional supplements to help you get better. You need to take them every day so that by the time you leave the hospital, you'll be a healthy, strong, and beautiful woman."
Mary imagined the scene and twitched her mouth, "I don't really want to get fat."
Maria laughed unceremoniously, "Just kidding, how could I let you get fat? But you still need to take them on time, okay?"
Mary nodded, "Alright, I got it. Thanks for the care."
Maria rolled her eyes at her and then asked, "When I came over, I heard you guys chatting happily. What's going on? Share it with me so I can be happy too."
Shirley then said, "Mary is going to file for divorce."
Maria was stunned, "I thought you were already divorced?"
Shirley explained the previous situation and concluded, "That bastard did such a thing, even made a fake divorce decree to deceive our Mary. It's just too despicable."
Maria's eyes flickered, and she said, "Is there really such a thing?"
Mary nodded.
Sean frowned, "How could he treat you like this?"
His gaze at Mary was tinged with a bit of pity.
Maria said, "How confident are you about filing for divorce?"
Robert said, "I'll find the best divorce lawyer in the industry to help her."
Maria glanced at him and smiled, "I'm really envious of Mary, having a friend like Mr. Williams who would go to such lengths for her."
Mary said, "Whether it works out or not, I have to give it a try."
Maria nodded, "You definitely should get a divorce. Such a vile man is no different from trash. We don't need him!"
After chatting for a while, Maria got up and left.
Sean walked over, gazing at Mary with a serious expression, "Mary, if you need anything from me, just let me know."
Mary smiled, "Alright, if I need you, I'll reach out."
Sean's eyes immediately brightened, "Then you rest well, I won't disturb you."
"Okay, goodbye."
Watching him leave, Mary turned her gaze back to Shirley's playful smile.
Mary asked, "What kind of expression is that?"
Shirley shook her head and then said, "Are you hungry? What do you want for dinner?"
Mary said, "I don't know, you decide."
"Alright, wait here." Shirley responded and looked at Robert, "Robert, I'm going to prepare dinner. You stay here with Mary."
"Okay." Robert nodded.
Shirley quickly left.
Robert looked at Mary and asked, "How is Sean's mother doing now?"
Mary said, "She's out of danger, but her condition has been deteriorating."
Robert nodded, "Such an illness requires proper rest. You should let him spend more time with his mother."
Mary sensed something else in his words and nodded, "Okay."
At that moment, his phone rang. He took it out, his eyes flickering, but he still answered the call.
Joan's tearful voice came through, "Robert, come save me!"
