Chapter 392 You have no idea what I want

Mary shot him a furious look. "Where did you take Shirley? Matthew, can't we just deal with our problems without involving others?"

Matthew smirked, "Our problems? What's she got to do with it? Always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong."

Mary was trembling with anger.

Not wanting to make a scene, Matthew yanked her out of the mall and shoved her into the car.

Mary fought back. "Matthew, let Shirley go!"

He pinned her down, his voice icy. "If you want her free, you better start playing nice and giving me what I want. Then I'll think about it."

Mary stared at him, feeling like she didn't even know him anymore.

Matthew got in the car, shutting out the curious onlookers. His face was hard and unyielding.

Trying to steady herself, Mary said, "Matthew, today was my fault. I shouldn't have hit Ms. Jackson or said those things. Can you let Shirley go?"

She caved quickly, but Matthew wasn't satisfied.

He looked at her intensely. "Is divorce the only thing on your mind?"

Mary's eyelashes fluttered, but she stayed silent.

She knew he wouldn't like her answer.

Seeing her quiet acceptance, Matthew felt a wave of frustration. He yanked at his tie, trying to release his bottled-up emotions.

The car was suffocating.

Mary was furious and heartbroken, but with Shirley in Matthew's grip, she couldn't show it.

She felt like crying.

Why did she fall for such a jerk?

But right now, saving Shirley was all that mattered.

"Matthew, please let Shirley go. I won't mess with your business anymore. Even if I see you with another girl, I'll just walk away. Is that okay?" Mary's voice softened, almost begging.

Matthew's face grew even darker. "How generous of you."

Mary said, "Isn't that what you want?"

Matthew stared at her. "You never knew what I wanted."

Mary opened her mouth but couldn't find the words.

Silence filled the car again.

Mary asked quietly, "What do I have to do for you to let Shirley go?"

Matthew replied, "Anything?"

Mary's long eyelashes trembled, and she whispered, "Anything."

Matthew chuckled and suddenly grabbed her chin, his thumb brushing over her lips. His eyes darkened as he said, "Then use your mouth to please me."

Mary looked at him in disbelief.

Matthew raised an eyebrow. "What? Didn't you say anything?"

Mary's body shook with shock. She never thought he'd ask for something like this.

Even at their best, she never imagined it, and he never asked!

She couldn't accept it!

Mary instinctively turned her face away.

Matthew stared at her, his eyes cold and deep, saying nothing.

Mary bit her lip, hesitating for a long time before asking, "If I do this, will you let Shirley go?"

She didn't trust him and needed to be sure.

Matthew seemed to read her mind and said coldly, "Mary, the only thing you can do now is trust me. Because she's in my hands, and whether I let her go is up to me."
