Chapter 412 Drunk

It sounded like someone was calling for help, but it was faint.

"Did you hear that?" Herman asked Matthew, looking puzzled.

Matthew shrugged. "Nope."

"Maybe I imagined it. Let's go," Herman said.

Matthew just nodded, eyes down, and followed Herman into the private room.

Mary kept yelling for help, but no one came. She looked desperate as they forced her to drink.

Suddenly, someone barged in and shouted, "I've already called the cops!"

The people in the room froze.

"Who the hell is this?" someone asked.

"Get lost, or we'll mess you up!" someone else said.

The intruder was a young guy in the Club uniform. He looked nervous but didn't back down. "I called the cops. Let her go, or they'll be here any minute!"

Even the toughest guys didn't want to mess with the police. They scowled but let Mary go.

The young guy rushed to help her out of the room.

Mary was stumbling, her clothes soaked and disheveled from all the forced drinking.

"Are you okay? Let me take you to the hospital," the young guy said, worried.

Mary pinched her thigh to stay conscious and looked at him gratefully. "Thank you. What's your name?"

"Sean Huxley," he said with a shy smile.

Mary pulled out her phone. "Can I get your number? I'd like to thank you later. If it weren't for you, I don't know what would've happened."

Sean shook his head. "No need. Just glad you're okay."

Mary wanted to say more but felt a wave of nausea. She covered her mouth and ran to the restroom.

Luckily, it wasn't far. She made it just in time and started vomiting.

Sean followed, looking concerned. "Miss, are you alright?"

Meanwhile, Matthew stepped out of a private room, cigarette in hand. He thought he saw someone familiar running into the restroom. He frowned but didn't think much of it. People drank too much here all the time.

He stood at the end of the hallway, smoking, his sharp features cloaked in smoke, looking cold and distant.

These gatherings were pointless.

Mary's indifferent face flashed in his mind, making him even more irritated.

Their relationship was spiraling out of control.

"Miss, you really should go to the hospital," a voice came from the restroom area.

"No need," a familiar female voice replied.

Matthew turned sharply and saw Mary, half-supported by a guy, coming out of the restroom.

Her cheeks were flushed, her clothes wet, and she looked dazed.

Matthew's face darkened.

Mary was unsteady, holding her phone. "Please... give me your number, I..."

She stumbled.

Sean quickly caught her, stopping her from falling.

"Thank you, thank you," Mary mumbled, still dazed. She looked at Sean's face and thought of Matthew when they first met.

She stared at Sean blankly.

Suddenly, she felt a strong grip on her arm, pulling her to the side.
