Chapter 391 This is My Punch

Shirley's face was stormy with anger.

Mary was a bit wobbly on her feet. She stared at Matthew's handsome face, once so familiar, now feeling like a stranger.

Out of nowhere, she grinned, marched right up to Chloe, and slapped her hard.

The slap echoed, and the whole store went dead silent.

Mary turned to Matthew. "That slap was long overdue. She causes trouble and then complains about it. Consider this a lesson. Just because she's your mistress doesn't mean I won't hit her."

She glared at Chloe, her hand shaking a bit. "Cut the crap. If you mess with me again, I'll slap you even harder!"

Ignoring Chloe's sour expression, she faced Matthew. "No apologies, Matthew. I want a divorce."

With that, she grabbed Shirley and started to leave.

The bodyguards blocked the door, but Mary stared them down coldly.

Despite her small frame, she had somehow taken on Matthew's fierce vibe. The bodyguards didn't dare to look her in the eye.

Mary pulled Shirley along and left.

The store's atmosphere was thick with tension.

Chloe started crying, covering her face. "Mr. Montagu."

"Get out." Matthew didn't even look at her, just spat out the words and walked away.

The bodyguards followed him. The executives who had come to check out the store were nearby, clueless about what had just gone down and too scared to get involved.

Chloe covered her face, looking totally miserable.

But she didn't dare fight back.

If Matthew got mad and took away all the perks he'd given her, she'd be left with nothing.

But she was fuming inside. She'd get her revenge, no doubt about it.

Shirley looked at Mary, surprised. "Mary, you've gotten so brave."

Mary's face was a bit pale. She looked at Shirley and said, "Matthew's gonna hold a grudge. You need to leave Lindwood City. Go anywhere, just don't let him find you."

Shirley shook her head. "I'm not leaving. I want to stay with you."

Mary felt a warmth in her heart but insisted, "If I'm alone, he can't touch me. But if you stay, he'll use you against me."

Shirley didn't want to go but knew Mary was right.

She hesitated, then nodded. "Okay, I'll do what you say."

Mary smiled a little, then saw Matthew catching up.

She quickly put Shirley behind her, her eyes cold. "What do you want?"

Matthew's eyes were dark, but he smirked, "Mary, you embarrassed me today. What do you think I should do?"

With a wave of his hand, a few bodyguards stepped forward and grabbed Shirley.

Mary was horrified. "Let her go, Matthew. If you have a problem, take it out on me!"

Matthew glanced at the bodyguards, and they dragged Shirley away.

"Let go!" Shirley tried to scream and fight, but she was no match for the bodyguards. They covered her mouth, and she could only glare at Matthew.

Mary felt a chill run through her. She rushed at him, trying to hit him.

But he caught her wrist, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "Mary, I've been too easy on you, huh?"
