Chapter 443 He Asserted His Claim

Shirley was stuck and couldn't move an inch.

Her heart started racing!

What was Herman up to?

Was he trying to make love with her again? No way!

He was terrible at it, and she didn't want to go through that again!

She fought back hard! Her body was soft, squirming under him, and Herman's eyes darkened quickly.

"If you keep moving, I'm gonna take you right now," Herman said, his voice rough.

Shirley froze because she could tell he was turned on. Her face turned red with anger, "Get off me now!"

Herman didn't budge; he just held her tighter. "Stay still, I'll be fine in a minute."

He lowered his head, his breath warm on her skin, making her shiver!

Shirley didn't dare move!

She was a little scared. If he really forced her, she wouldn't be able to stop him!

Herman was such a jerk, always ready to pounce!

Meanwhile, Matthew shot a cold look at Robert, but a wicked smile played on his lips. "Alright, go ahead and introduce the lawyer. I wanna see how good they are."

Robert just glanced at Mary.

Mary lowered her eyes, her long lashes trembling, and said, "Thanks, Robert, but there's no need right now."

"Of course, there's a need," Matthew cut in, "I know a lawyer in this field too. Let's see who's better. Loser dies, how about that?"

Mary frowned. "Matthew, can you stop being crazy?"

Matthew's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Crazy? I'm perfectly calm."

Mary went silent.

She thought he was totally nuts!

The smile on Robert's face faded a bit. He could see that Mary couldn't get a divorce right now and didn't want to drag him into it, otherwise, she wouldn't have turned him down.

"If you need anything in the future, you can always reach out," Robert said gently, looking at Mary.

"Okay," Mary nodded, and the vibe between them was pretty chill.

Matthew watched coldly, feeling super annoyed, thinking they were flirting right in front of him.

Did Mary really think he was dumb?

Matthew took a big swig of beer and then asked, "You done eating?"

Mary looked at him, puzzled.

Matthew continued, "We still need to pick out a gift for Grandma."

Mary had totally forgotten about that!

Victoria's birthday party was in two days, and as Matthew's wife, she had to have a gift ready.

She checked the time and asked, "Isn't it too late to buy one now?"

Matthew replied, "No worries, I got a plan."

Mary nodded and then turned to Robert, "Robert, I gotta go now. Don't worry about cleaning up; I'll call a housekeeper."

Robert wanted her to stay. "But you didn't eat much."

Mary said, "It's okay, I'm not hungry."

Robert wanted to argue, but Matthew suddenly grabbed Mary's wrist, pulled her close, and kissed her. Then he said, "Let's go."

Mary was a bit stunned.

A trace of sadness flashed in Robert's eyes.

He had no right to do these things to her, at least not now.

But then, a smile crept back onto Robert's face.

Matthew could only use this method to provoke him.

What if Matthew and Mary got divorced in the future? He'd be nothing then.

Whoever Mary loved would be the real winner.

Robert stood up. "I'm leaving too."

He paused and asked, "What about Shirley?"

At that moment, strange noises came from the bedroom, and everyone heard them.
