Chapter 617 Offer Your Face for Her to Slap
The sound of the slap was very loud.
Jessica covered her face, looking at her in disbelief, "You actually dared to hit me?"
Mary looked at her with icy eyes, "I did hit you, Ms. Johnson. You are really ungrateful. I tried to help you, and you turned around and insulted me. You deserve this slap!"
Jessica's face was right in front of her. If she didn't hit Mary, she would be at a loss.
Jessica glared at her with hatred, "No one has ever dared to bully me like this since I was a child. Mary, you're in big trouble!"
Mary raised an eyebrow, "How do you want me to die? I've recorded this call, Ms. Johnson. If anything happens to me in the near future, you'll be the prime suspect."
Jessica was even more furious, glaring at Mary viciously, "Just you wait."
Mary chuckled lightly and said nothing.
Jessica left in anger, and she walked back leisurely. When she turned the corner, she saw Matthew leaning against the wall, looking at her coldly.
"You're quite bold, daring to slap Jessica Johnson," Matthew said coldly.
Mary looked at him and said, "I think she deserved it."
Matthew stared at her intently, "And what about you?"
"Me?" Mary was puzzled, "What about me?"
Matthew walked up to her, "It's amazing how you, my ex-wife, generously tell Jessica about my preferences."
Mary smiled and said, "No need to thank me, just don't target the people around me."
Unexpectedly, Matthew suddenly grabbed her by the neck and pressed her against the wall.
"Mary, do you have a death wish?" Matthew's face was very cold, "How dare you!"
Mary frowned and patted his hand, "Can you stop grabbing my neck all the time? You can't strangle me to death anyway."
Matthew sneered, "I can't strangle you to death, but I can show you what despair feels like."
As he finished speaking, his fingers suddenly tightened.
Mary immediately felt difficulty breathing. She slightly took deep breaths and looked at him with a few traces of fear in her eyes.
His eyes were very cold. Was he really going to kill her?
Just as she was about to suffocate, Matthew let go of her. Watching her cough with difficulty, his eyes were filled with coldness. After she finished coughing, he suddenly grabbed her chin and leaned in to kiss her.
His kiss was very fierce, plundering her breath and softness.
After such torment, even the strongest person couldn't bear it.
Mary pushed him, thinking he was crazy!
Matthew bit her lip, hearing her groan, and saw that her lips were bleeding.
"Mary, behave yourself and don't provoke me, or I really won't be able to resist locking you up," he said in a deep voice, then turned and left.
Mary leaned against the wall, gasping for breath.
Staring at his departing figure, a trace of panic flashed in her eyes.
When she returned, both Matthew and Jessica had left.
Maria saw her and frowned, "What happened to you?"
She hesitated to speak as she gazed at Mary's lips.
Mary shook her head, "I'm fine, let's go."
Maria nodded, "Okay."
Back at the studio, Mary was in a bad state. She stared blankly at the computer, suddenly having an idea.
