Chapter 200 Starting to Look a Bit Pleasing

Snowy: [Mr. Adams, you're so kind. I don't even know how to thank you.]

Fool Adams: [Just listen to me and keep it. If you need anything, let me know.]

Snowy: [Thanks, Mr. Adams.]

Shirley looked at the $10,000 deposit, a cold smile on her lips.

"Shirley!"

Herman's voice came from the bedroom.

Shirley rolled her eyes and walked in. "What is it?"

Having just received $10,000 from Herman, she was now a bit more tolerant. Just a bit.

Herman glanced at the cup. "I'm thirsty."

hirley filled it with water and handed it to him. "Drink."

However, Herman didn't take it. "I'm not thirsty anymore. I need to use the bathroom."

Shirley wanted to splash the water in his face but held back. Herman was good at tormenting people. If she did that, who knows what he'd do.

She put the cup down, helped him up, and his weight pressed down on her. She almost fell.

She glared at him. "You..."

Herman asked, "What?"

Shirley fell silent, holding back her anger. "Stand firm. If you fall again, it might be more than just a concussion."

Herman smirked. "If anything happens to me, it's your responsibility."

Shirley stayed sullen.

Herman continued, "So, you better hold me steady."

Shirley thought $10,000 was too little.

She struggled to help him into the bathroom. When he sat on the toilet, his brows furrowed. She instinctively said, "What? Need help taking off your pants?"

Herman, feeling dizzy, looked at her and said playfully, "Sure, go ahead."

Shirley's expression froze.

Shirley thought, 'I am just being sarcastic! Help take off your pants? No way!'

She turned around. "Do it yourself. I'll check on the chicken soup."

Herman watched her leave and snorted.

Shirley left the bathroom, exhaling in frustration and wondered, 'Why am I so nervous?'

She went to the kitchen to check on the chicken soup. After a while, Herman's voice called again.

She angrily threw the spoon aside and went to the bathroom door. "Mr. Adams, I'm coming in."

"Okay."

Shirley took a deep breath and opened the door. Herman was still on the toilet, his clothes covering his lower body. She didn't look, just helped him up. "Can you pull up your pants?"

Herman's weight pressed down on her again. "I'm dizzy."

Shirley's eyes widened. "Herman, don't push it!"

Herman chuckled, his breath brushing against her ear, making her stiffen. "You're a caregiver now. Haven't you read the manual?"
