Chapter 348 What do you Have to Talk About with Him?

"Sure thing, Robert. Thanks," Mary nodded.

Robert gave a small smile. "No need to be all formal with me. It's late, you should hit the sack."

Without realizing it, night had already fallen.

Mary stood up, "Alright, I'm heading out."

Robert watched her leave, his eyes narrowing, musing, 'Why isn't she curious about who was saved? Or does she just not care about Matthew anymore?'

Mary got home, her head buzzing with everything Robert had told her.

As she unlocked the door, she didn't notice someone lurking on the stairs above. When she stepped inside, the person followed her in.

Mary jumped, but then she saw it was Matthew and felt a wave of relief, though she frowned. "What are you doing here again?"

Matthew stared at her intensely, then suddenly stepped forward and pulled her into his arms. His hot breath brushed against her as he kissed her with a hint of madness.

Mary was shocked and struggled immediately.

But he was strong, holding her tight like he wanted to merge with her.

She felt like her mouth wasn't hers anymore!

She didn't know how long it had been before Matthew finally let her go, his eyes dark and cold. "What were you talking about with him?"

Mary pushed him hard. "What's it to you!"

Matthew's eyes narrowed dangerously. "You should think about the consequences!"

With that, he grabbed her and pushed her onto the couch. Before she could react, his tall and heavy body pressed down on her.

"No!" Mary yelled, kicking wildly.

Matthew easily pinned her down, his hot breath close to her. "What's the problem? Don't forget, we're married."

Mary gritted her teeth. "He told me about Roy!"

Hearing this, Matthew paused, looking at her slightly red eyes, and slowly got up.

Mary stood up, straightened her clothes, and said, "He saved me before. He just wants to find Roy, but that guy's slippery and we don't know where he's hiding."

Matthew was fuming.

Thinking about how Roy found Mary after getting out of prison, and how it was Robert who saved her, made him even more pissed!

Mary walked to the kitchen and took out some food. She hadn't had dinner yet.

Matthew watched her intently and suddenly walked over.

This time, Mary didn't let him eat and said, "I only made enough for myself. If you eat it, I'll go hungry."

Matthew paused slightly while holding the utensils, then said, "Then make some more."

Mary frowned. "No."

Matthew pulled out a chair and sat down. "Fine, if you don't cook, I won't leave."

"You!" Mary glared at him, fuming.

She didn't rush to cook but ate first because she was starving.

Matthew wasn't in a hurry either, just watching her eat, his eyes growing darker.

Watching her made him feel satisfied.

Mary resisted the urge to slap him, finished her meal, got up, and started cooking some pasta.

She added two green veggies as a garnish and then plopped it in front of him. "Eat!"

Matthew looked at the plate of pasta, somewhat expressionless.

Mary raised her chin. "Don't like it? Then don't eat."

With that, she was about to take the pasta away.
