Chapter 135 I Don't Like You Anymore
"Let me go! What the hell are you doing?" Mary was stunned. What was Matthew up to now?
Matthew stormed into the bedroom and threw her onto the bed. Before she could get up, he leaned over, pinning her down with his weight, his eyes boring into hers.
"Matthew, what are you doing?" Mary's chest heaved with anger, fury blazing in her eyes.
Matthew's voice was cold, "Didn't I tell you to stay away from Robert? What were you thinking bringing him home today? If I hadn't run into you, what were you planning to do?"
Mary thought Matthew was being completely unreasonable!
She struggled, "Matthew, are you out of your mind? Robert is just a friend. What's wrong with bringing a friend home?"
She didn't dare mention her plan to sell the house. If Matthew found out, who knows what he'd do!
Matthew stared at Mary intensely. Her struggles had brought a faint blush to her face.
She wasn't wearing makeup, but the blush added a touch of color, though her lips were pale.
With that thought, Matthew suddenly kissed her. He bit and nibbled at her lips, seeking the color he wanted before finally stopping.
The kiss was abrupt and fierce. By the time Mary reacted, Matthew had already pulled away, his gaze lingering on her lips.
Mary closed her eyes and stopped struggling. In a calm tone, she said, "You come here every day. Doesn't Laura get mad?"
Matthew frowned, "She understands my intentions, so she won't."
Mary remarked, "Wow, she's really understanding."
Matthew asked, "What do you mean by that?"
Mary looked at him seriously, "Matthew, does she really like you?"
Matthew's lips tightened.
Mary continued, "I don't believe a girl who likes a guy would tolerate him getting involved with other girls. I guess Laura probably doesn't like you; otherwise, how could she be so indifferent to you coming to see me?"
Matthew stared directly at her, "So, you like me; that's why you care so much about Laura's presence."
Mary, feeling exasperated, said, "Matthew, if you had said that to me a month ago, I would not doubt it because back then, I really liked you. But now, I feel nothing for you."
Matthew's expression darkened, "What?"
Mary looked at him calmly, "I'm saying I don't like you anymore."
Her feelings for him faded away with every disappointment. When her disappointments accumulated, she naturally felt nothing for him.
"Is that so?" Matthew suddenly smiled, "But your body says otherwise." With that, he kissed her again without regard for Mary's reaction.
Mary's pupils contracted, but she didn't resist. She tried to calm herself down and said, "Yes. Despite your despicable character, I kinda enjoy your body."
Matthew's movements halted abruptly. His deep eyes gazed at her intently.
