Chapter 779 The Door Opened

"Mary?"

Robert saw her eyes flutter shut again. The drug was kicking in.

He scooped her up and headed for the bathroom.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise at the door!

Robert's face fell. They got here so fast?

Before he could react, the door burst open, revealing members of the Williams, Bailey, and Montagu families standing outside!

"Oh my God, what are you doing?"

Joan was at the front, her eyes welling up with tears. She pointed at them, her voice shaking.

"Robert, why are you doing this to me? Today is our wedding day, our wedding day!"

The faces of the Williams and Bailey family members were grim.

Matthew strode in, his expression icy as he looked at Mary. "She's been drugged."

"Yeah, that's right."

Robert nodded and explained everything that had just happened. He concluded, "Mr. Montagu, nothing happened between us. She's innocent."

Even without an explanation, it was clear from their appearances.

He was still in his suit, and Mary's dress was only slightly wrinkled.

It didn't look like they had been up to anything inappropriate.

Matthew took Mary from Robert, his voice cold. "Lock down the entire hotel. No one leaves!"

With that, he carried Mary out.

"Matthew, where are you taking that slut?"

Joan immediately blocked his path, her eyes red with anger.

Matthew's eyes flashed with coldness. "Move."

"No!"

Joan was heartbroken, angry, and pointed at Mary. "She's a shameless whore, seducing both you and Robert, and even doing this at our wedding! Matthew, why are you still protecting her? Hand her over to me. I want her to suffer!"

Matthew's expression grew colder. "She's been drugged. Can't you see that?"

Joan didn't care. "She's just trying to seduce Robert. Matthew, hand her over to me. Hand her over."

Matthew looked at the Bailey family members.

"Keep an eye on Joan. If she has no sense, do you have no sense either? This was premeditated. Investigate it thoroughly. You'll feel better, and I don't want my wife to be tainted in any way!"

His commanding presence weighed heavily on everyone. They weren't all fools and could see that something was wrong with Mary.

"Lock down the entire hotel. No one leaves!"

Robert spoke up, looking at his subordinates.

Joan was restrained, and Matthew carried Mary out, needing to get her to a hospital. Her condition was very concerning!

In the car, she was already unconscious, acting purely on instinct.

Her hand landed on his chest, slipping inside his shirt, caressing his muscles, and writhing continuously.

Matthew's breathing deepened. He grabbed her hand. "Mary, you're harassing me."

"So hot, so uncomfortable."

Mary murmured, snuggling closer to him.

Matthew closed his eyes briefly and instructed the driver to head to the nearest place they could stay.

When he carried Mary into the room, she was writhing even more intensely.
