Chapter 149 Her Lips Looks Perfect Now

Mary trembled, instinctively pushing him away, but Matthew grabbed her wrist, pulling her arm down and kissing her hard.

Mary struggled, but Matthew's kiss was fierce and urgent. He didn't stop until her lips were flushed, looking satisfied.

He thought her lips looked perfect now.

Mary shoved him away. "Matthew, don't you find yourself disgusting?"

Matthew looked at her angry face and said, "Why are you in such a hurry? Has this month passed?"

Mary's expression froze. "Are you saying you'll divorce me next month?"

Matthew raised an eyebrow, said nothing, and turned to leave.

"Asshole!" Mary watched him walk away, cursing under her breath.

She knew he was playing her again! Why was getting a divorce so difficult?

Just then, Shirley came out, seeing Mary's upset face. "What's wrong?"

Mary asked, "Did you talk to him?"

Shirley nodded. "Yeah, he agreed, but he seemed really reluctant."

Mary smirked coldly. "Of course, he's not happy. His plan failed."

Shirley sneered. "Men are all the same."

They left the hospital, about to hail a taxi.

Suddenly, a woman rushed over, raising her hand to hit Mary.

Mary dodged and frowned. "Are you crazy?"

Cindy glared at Mary. "You slut! How dare you come to the hospital? Are you here to mess with Matthew? Don't you know Matthew belongs to Laura? You've been monopolizing him, and now that Laura is dying, how can you be so heartless?"

Shirley stepped in front of Mary, sneering. "What does that have to do with us? Shouldn't she go to Matthew instead? Let Matthew divorce Mary cleanly. Then, you can die as you want. Even if you want us to help scatter your ashes, we don't mind. We might even give you a discount on the funeral expenses."

"You..." Cindy's chest heaved with anger.

She glared at Mary. "You're nothing but a gold digger after the Montagu family's wealth and power, pretending to be noble. You're trying to make Matthew not want to divorce you. I've seen too much. Let me tell you, the Montagu family will never accept you. In their eyes, they only want Laura!"

Unable to physically harm Mary, Cindy decided to make her suffer emotionally!

Did Mary think she could have a good life without getting a divorce? Dream on!

Mary looked coldly at Cindy and suddenly asked, "Which ward is Laura in?"

Cindy looked at her warily. "What are you planning to do?"

Mary said, "She has depression because of Matthew. As Matthew's wife, I should go and see her. Oh, I need to get something first. It wouldn't be polite to visit her empty-handed, right?"

"You, slut..." Cindy pointed at Mary to curse, but before she could finish, Mary slapped her.

Mary looked indifferent. "If she wants to be with Matthew that badly, she should hurry up and persuade Matthew to divorce me instead of sending you to insult me. What right do you have to meddle in my affairs?"

Cindy had already cursed her over the phone, and now she was cursing her to her face. If she didn't do something to Cindy, she would be letting herself down.
