Chapter 462 Being Completely Controlled by Matthew
Matthew grabbed a remote and hit a button, making a screen slowly drop down from the TV wall.
He pulled out his phone and started projecting.
Soon, everyone could see what was happening in the garden.
Someone was pushing Victoria's wheelchair, and Mary, who rushed over when she saw it, was clearly caught on camera.
The video was short but showed everything until Victoria's wheelchair was stopped.
Matthew's voice got colder, "This has nothing to do with Mary. As for the one who pushed the wheelchair to frame her, I'll find out. If you come forward now, I might go easy on you. But if I find out myself, you'll end up like those in the basement."
His deep, magnetic voice echoed through the living room, sending chills down everyone's spines and making them tense up!
Matthew looked at Richard. "See? This is the proof."
Richard's face got even darker. Being publicly contradicted by his own son made him look at Matthew with even more disgust.
Matthew sneered and turned to the two servants. "Didn't you just say you saw Mary push the wheelchair on purpose? Go on, say it again."
The two servants were dumbstruck when they saw the surveillance video. Now, being called out by Matthew, they were so scared they turned pale and immediately knelt down!
"Mr. Montagu, I was wrong. When I heard Mrs. Victoria Montagu's cries, I thought Mrs. Mary Montagu had hurt her. I won't speak out of turn again!"
"I was wrong, Mr. Montagu; I must have been seeing things; I was mistaken; it's all my fault; please forgive me this time!"
The two servants pleaded desperately for themselves!
They didn't want to be locked in the basement! They had delivered food to the people inside and had seen the horrific scenes, which scared them so much they couldn't sleep for days!
Matthew looked at them coldly. "Am I the one you should be apologizing to?"
The two servants got the hint and immediately started apologizing to Mary, over and over.
Mary's expression was indifferent; she wasn't used to seeing people kneel before her.
But it was these two who insisted she had hurt Victoria, leading to her being locked up.
They looked down on her because of her ordinary background, thinking she would eventually be kicked out of the Montagu Family.
Mary said nothing, so the two servants didn't dare to get up.
The atmosphere in the living room was tense.
The situation had shifted from being dominated by Richard to being completely controlled by Matthew.
Matthew's expression was cold and indifferent, but he kept playing with Mary's hand, enjoying it immensely, as if it were something he cherished.
Mary tried to pull her hand away a few times but couldn't, so she gave up.
At that moment, Linda's hesitant voice suddenly broke the silence. "Is the person wearing the mask Samuel?"
Richard immediately looked at the screen, which was paused at the moment a servant stopped the wheelchair. The image wasn't very clear, but it showed a tall man wearing a mask.
Richard suddenly instructed excitedly, "Enlarge the image!"
The butler stepped forward and enlarged the surveillance video with the remote control.
However, the more it was enlarged, the blurrier the image became, making it even harder to see clearly.
But Richard became more excited!
