Mary said, "If I don't see her punished with my own eyes, I will truly be in pain."
Hearing this, Maria didn't say anything more.
The two set off again and returned to No. 9 Club, but they didn't get out of the car.
Mary directly dialed Matthew's number and said, "I'm back."
"Okay, I'll send someone to pick you up." Matthew's deep voice came through.
Mary didn't say anything and hung up the phone.
After a while, someone came over, knocked on the car window, and respectfully asked, "Excuse me, are you Ms. Smith?"

The person said, "Ms. Smith, please follow me. Mr. Montagu is already waiting for you."
Mary got off the car and left with the bodyguard.
Maria, sitting in the car, said, "I won't go with you."
Mary nodded, "You go back first. I'll handle the rest."
Maria said, "Take tomorrow off. Rest well at home and don't think about anything. It's all over."
Mary gave her a slight smile, "Okay, I know." She turned and followed the bodyguard into the elevator.
This time, Mary went directly to the guest room area of No. 9 Club. When they opened a door, they saw Matthew sitting on the sofa, and Laura sitting on the other side, looking very excited, clearly talking to Matthew about something.
Suddenly hearing the door open, Laura was startled. She turned her head and saw Mary walk in, and her brows immediately furrowed.
"What are you doing here?"
Just before, Laura was in a private room playing games with Joan and the others when Matthew's bodyguard suddenly came over and told her that Matthew wanted to see her.
She was overjoyed and followed the bodyguard here after saying goodbye to Joan.
Seeing Matthew in the room, Laura's palms started to sweat with excitement!

Was he going to propose to her?

Mary walked over and sat directly next to Matthew, not even glancing at Laura.

Matthew directly held her hand, "Are you okay?"
Mary calmly withdrew her hand, "I'm fine."
But Matthew, without saying a word, held her hand again, and this time, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't pull it away.
Matthew said, gazing deeply into her eyes. "Don't waste your energy, Mary. I won't let you go."
Mary's long eyelashes trembled, and bitterness spread in her eyes.
Laura couldn't stand it anymore and said, "Matthew, why did you call me here?"
