Chapter 385 He Simply Wouldn't Let Her Sleep
Matthew's lips found her face, then her mouth, his hot breath washing over her like he was trying to melt her.
Mary's body shook uncontrollably. She bit down on his shoulder, hard enough to feel his muscles tense up.
"If it feels good, just let it out. We're married, no need to be shy." Matthew's deep voice rumbled in her ear, seeing right through her.
Mary waited for the feeling to pass before letting go, her breathing ragged, her eyes cold as she stared at him.
Matthew raised an eyebrow at her. "What? Use me and then not take responsibility?"
He scooped her up and headed for the bed.
She was too weak to fight back, so he easily pinned her down.
He hovered over her, his narrow eyes like a bottomless pit, ready to swallow her whole.
Mary pushed him away. "If you need someone, go find an actress or a model, just leave me out of it!"
Matthew paused, staring at her. "Are you jealous?"
Mary shot back, "I am not!"
He kept her pinned, not letting her get up. "You are jealous, no need to deny it."
Mary took a deep breath. "Matthew, I don't like you anymore, why would I be jealous?"
After a moment, she smiled as if she thought of something. "You don't think my body's reaction means I like you, do you? You're good at what you do, any woman would give in, but that doesn't mean I like you."
Matthew's face darkened. Without giving her a chance to react, he invaded her forcefully!
Mary stiffened. She had been so relaxed before, making her soft now, and he didn't have to try hard.
"You..." Mary's eyes widened, wanting to accuse him.
But he grabbed her waist, leaned down, and kissed her hard and aggressively!
He didn't let her speak!
Even if she could, her words came out broken and incoherent.
Mary was terrified, gradually unable to keep up!
Almost the entire night, every time she was about to pass out, he would wake her up.
He didn't want her to sleep at all!
As dawn broke, Mary twitched slightly in his arms, her eyelids heavy with exhaustion.
Matthew finally let her go, his eyes still dark and deep, but his tone colder. "Mary, I don't like hearing those words. If I hear them again, it won't be as simple as tonight."
He let her go and headed straight to the bathroom.
Mary, however, had no time to think and fell into a deep sleep.
When she woke up again, a long time had passed.
She turned over, her back aching like she'd been hit by a truck, completely drained of strength!
'Matthew, that bastard!' She cursed under her breath, realizing she was late and hadn't asked Maria for leave. She quickly grabbed her phone to message Maria.
But when she opened her phone, she saw a message from Maria.
Maria: [Building electrical maintenance, everyone work from home today. Make sure to get your work done.]
