Chapter 522 Sean Saved Her
"Help!"
Mary screamed and turned to run!
Even though she had a knife in her hand, she still didn't dare to confront the man head-on. What if he took the knife and turned it against her?
She ran desperately!
While running, she shouted for help. Her voice echoed in the underground parking lot!
The footsteps following closely behind felt like they were stomping on her heart. She was so terrified, it felt like her heart was about to burst out of her throat!
She clutched the knife tightly, her whole body trembling!
At that moment, a figure suddenly rushed out from the side and knocked the man following her to the ground!
Both of them fell to the ground!
"Mary, run!"
An anxious voice sounded from behind.
Mary turned around sharply and saw Sean wrestling with the man. His face was quickly injured!
The man pulled out a knife and stabbed it towards Sean's chest.
"No!"
Mary exclaimed and rushed over to help!
Sean blocked the attack with his arm, and blood immediately flowed out. The intense pain made his face turn pale!
Mary hit the man with her bag. The chain on her bag whipped across the man's face and neck, quickly leaving blood marks.
Sean also struggled against the man, and soon pushed him away!
"Mary, you shouldn't have come back!"
Sean shielded her behind him, watching the man warily, and said with a frown.
Mary took out her phone to call the police, but the man glared at her fiercely and then ran away!
The police arrived quickly. After checking around, they found that the surveillance cameras in the underground parking lot had been damaged, and the security guard was unconscious.
The man had planned this!
Sean's arm was still bleeding, so Mary hurriedly went to the hospital with him.
Fortunately, the wound wasn't deep. After bandaging, it was fine.
"Thank you." As they left the hospital, Mary looked at him gratefully. If it weren't for him, who knows what would have happened to her tonight!
As a woman, she definitely couldn't outrun that man!
Sean shook his head, "As long as you're okay, this little injury is nothing."
Mary was still in shock, and her face was still pale.
Sean asked, "Mary, who was he? He looked like he wanted to kill you."
He had seen the man's particularly fierce eyes like he was looking at an enemy.
Mary shook her head, "I don't know him."
But she knew that the man wasn't Roy.
She had seen Roy twice and had a bit of an impression of his eyes.
But who was this person?
Could it be that Laura sent someone to harm her?
Was Laura that desperate?
Sean said, "Where do you live? I'll take you home. It's not safe for you to go back alone."
Mary replied, "I'm fine. The place I live is quite secure, but you're injured. You should go home and rest."
Sean insisted on taking her, "No, I'm afraid something like this will happen again. What will you do if no one is around to help you?"
Mary couldn't refuse, and besides, Sean had just saved her. If she acted too resistant and cold, it would be impolite.
"Alright."
Mary agreed, and they got in the car and left together.
Mary gave the address of Maple Grove Manor.
Sean was surprised about the address, "You live here? This place is indeed quite secure."
Mary nodded, "Yes, I feel safer living here."
Seeing her still frightened, Sean asked, "After such a big incident, aren't you going to tell your husband?"
Mary paused at his words, then said, "He's very busy. I'll tell him when he comes home tonight."
