Chapter 286 Making Mary Never Leave Him Again
Mary got hit so hard she felt dizzy and leaned against the wall, not moving for a while.
Barbara sneered, "Why are you still fighting? If I didn't need you to please Mr. James, I'd teach you a lesson right now!"
She looked at the men, "Take her away!"
The men grabbed Mary and started dragging her outside.
This time, Mary was too weak to fight back.
She looked at Barbara, her eyes cold. "You better hope I die, or else..."
Barbara sneered, "Do you think you'll survive Mr. James?"
Barbara thought, 'Mary's done for this time!'
Mary felt extremely dizzy, barely staying conscious.
In the car, they put a hood over her head, and she slowly blacked out.
When she woke up, she was on a bed, tied up and unable to move.
Mary took deep breaths, trying not to panic.
Just then, the door opened, and Peter walked in, wearing a bathrobe.
Seeing her awake, he got excited. "Mary, I've missed you. You're meant to please men, so why not me? I won't let you suffer, so why did you run?"
He reached out to caress her face, moving his hand downward.
Mary suddenly laughed. "Mr. James, you're right."
Peter looked surprised. "You figured it out?"
Mary said, "If I keep resisting, I'll just suffer more."
Her change in attitude pleased Peter.
Peter laughed and patted her face. "Why didn't you think of this earlier? But Mary, you've run away and hurt me so many times. I need to do something to let it go."
He walked to the other side of the bed and pulled down a curtain, revealing a wall full of tools.
Mary's eyes widened, and she turned pale.
'Peter's going to kill me!' she thought.
She needed to buy some time.
She didn't know if her call had gone through before she passed out.
But she couldn't give up hope.
'What if the call went through? What if Matthew comes?' she thought.
Mary said, "Mr. James, if you tie me up, it won't be any fun. Why not untie me and let me shower first? Your men are everywhere; I can't escape."
Peter looked at her, intrigued. Her change in attitude made him more eager.
But she had a point.
Tying her up wasn't fun.
He untied the ropes, warning her coldly, "Don't try anything, or I'll make you suffer."
"I know," Mary said obediently.
Once free, Mary got off the bed. "I'll shower first. Please wait."
"Go ahead!"
Peter sat on the sofa, staring at the bathroom door, excited.
When she came out, he planned to make sure Mary could never leave him again.
