Chapter 288 Dying Here Today

Maria sent Mary's location to Matthew.

Matthew and his crew headed straight to the suburban villa.

This was Peter's place, where he threw wild parties and did whatever he wanted.

Michael, in the passenger seat, started sharing their findings.

"Mr. Montagu, this guy Peter James is Rodolfo's son, the deputy mayor of Lindenville. He's harassed Ms. Smith before."

He paused, then added, "You beat him up last time."

Matthew's face turned icy. "Call Rodolfo. Let him see what his son's up to."

"Yes, sir."

Michael made the call right away.

The villa was an hour's drive away.

Just then, Matthew's phone rang. It was Laura.

He frowned and answered, "Hello?"

But it wasn't Laura on the other end.

"Are you a relative of Ms. Sarah? She fainted and is in the emergency room. We need a family member to sign for her operation."

Matthew's face darkened. "If anything happens to her, your hospital will shut down!"

He hung up.

Michael asked, "Mr. Montagu, what happened?"

Matthew's eyes narrowed. "Find out what happened to Laura at the hospital. Keep it quiet."

"Yes, sir."

Michael got on it right away.

At the villa, Mary hit Peter again, her eyes red with fear, her whole body shaking.

Mary thought, 'I'm done for, might as well go down swinging!'

"Damn it!"

This time, Peter didn't dodge. He grabbed the whip, yanked Mary in front of him, and slapped her across the face.

"Bitch! You really have a death wish!" he shouted angrily.

He threw her onto the bed, yanked off his robe, and pressed down on her.

Mary's face went pale. "You better kill me. If I survive, I'll drag you to hell with me!"

Peter sneered, "Do you know where you are? Drag me to hell? Maybe in your next life!"

He reached to tear off her robe, only to find she hadn't changed clothes.

This made him even angrier.

"Bitch, I'll play you to death today!"

He tore at her clothes. She struggled, but she couldn't match his strength.

The sound of ripping fabric filled the room.

Despair filled Mary's eyes.

'Am I really going to die here?' she thought.

Her last bit of hope shattered, and she closed her eyes.

Suddenly, a loud crash came from outside!

"Damn it! Who's ruining my fun?"

Peter jumped out of bed to check. A car had crashed through the gate!

Several cars followed, and dozens of black-clad bodyguards emerged. The man leading them had a murderous aura, his eyes full of killing intent, as he charged straight at Peter!
