Chapter 327 He Will Like Her

Fool Adams: [Your bro's sick, and it's serious. You gotta handle this. Take this cash for the medical bills.]

Snowy: [Mr. Adams, you're too kind. I don't even know how to thank you.]

Fool Adams: [I'll let you know how once your bro's better.]

Snowy: [Alright.]

Shirley sent a shy emoji with a blank face.

She just scored another fifty grand.

Was she about to hit financial freedom?

Shirley logged out of her side account.

But she couldn't stop thinking about Herman's weird vibes and what he said.

In the end, she figured Herman was just nuts.

Shirley shifted a bit, feeling the sting from her shoulder wound. She gasped and stayed still, thinking 'When's this injury gonna heal? I still wanna see Mary!'

Herman left the hospital and hopped into his car.

He felt pretty good about helping Snowy out.

Now that this was done, it was time to talk about meeting up.

They'd been chatting forever, and Snowy was sweet, kind, beautiful, and smart.

He really dug a girl like that!

He thought once they met, he'd totally be into her!

As for Shirley's crush on him, she was gonna be let down.

Mary woke up feeling all kinds of messed up, hot and cold. Her lips were cracked, and she had zero energy.

Her head felt like it was gonna explode!

She looked around the strange room and remembered Matthew had locked her up.

She tried to knock on the door, but her hand dropped halfway, and she started coughing like crazy.

She struggled to get up and leaned against the door.

After a bit, she found her phone and called Matthew.

She couldn't stay locked up here.

She hadn't done anything wrong.

After three busy signals, the call got cut off.

Mary kept calling, and Matthew kept hanging up. Finally, he turned off his phone.

Mary coughed a few times, feeling super miserable!

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and Emily's voice came through. "Mrs. Montagu, lunch is ready. I'm bringing it in."

Without waiting for Mary to respond, Emily opened the door.

Mary let out a short scream, her hand still on the floor, and the door crushed her fingers as it opened!

Emily was startled. "Mrs. Montagu, why are you on the floor?"

Mary pulled her hand back, looking at the blood on her fingers, and frowned. "I need to see Matthew."

Emily said, "Mrs. Montagu, Mr. Montagu is busy."

Mary propped herself up against the wall. "Then let me out. I'll go find him."

Emily pushed her. "No, Mr. Montagu said you can't leave."

Mary, already feeling dizzy, staggered and fell from the push!

Seeing this, Emily said, "Mrs. Montagu, I'll put the food on the table. Remember to eat."

With that, she left the room.

Mary's head was spinning, and everything in front of her got blurry.

She reached out for her phone, but the next second, darkness took over, and she passed out.

Night fell, and the villa was lit up.

Matthew, dressed in a black suit and giving off a cold vibe, walked in and asked in a deep voice, "Has she admitted her mistake?"
