Chapter 836 Got Nothing
Not only was Theodosia missing, but the technician was gone, too!
Linda's expression changed instantly. She sensed something was wrong, jumped out of bed, dressed quickly, and walked over to open the door, only to find it locked.
Linda's expression darkened.
Theodosia had betrayed her!
What kind of offer did Matthew make to Theodosia that she would betray her own sister?
Linda quickly calmed down, took out her phone, and dialed a number.
"I'm locked up in the beauty salon right now. Theodosia is going to hand me over to Matthew. Find a way to get me out of here!"
After hearing the response, Linda felt relieved.
She sat on the bed, her face grim.
She had thought Theodosia was her last hope.
But now, Theodosia had abandoned her!
Well, she wouldn't hold back then!
Half an hour later.
Michael arrived at the beauty salon with his team.
Theodosia was sitting in the lounge area. When she saw him, she stood up and said, "Follow me."
Michael nodded slightly, and the group headed upstairs.
As they walked, Theodosia asked, "Can you tell me where my son is now?"
Michael smiled, "Once we see Linda, I'll naturally tell you."
Theodosia was displeased but decided to wait a little longer.
Soon, they reached the private room upstairs. Theodosia had someone open the door, but didn't go in.
"She's inside."
Michael waved his hand, and the bodyguards rushed in.
But shortly after, the bodyguards came out and said, "There's no one inside."
Michael immediately looked at Theodosia.
Theodosia's face turned pale with shock. "What?"
She rushed into the room, but there was no sign of Linda.
"This is impossible. I brought her here myself. I even used hypnotic incense. When did she leave?" Theodosia was in disbelief.
Michael smiled, "I believe in your determination, Theodosia. You just underestimated Linda's abilities. Since Linda isn't here, I'll be leaving now."
With that, he turned to leave with his team.
"You can't leave! You haven't told me where my son is. You can't leave!"
Theodosia was in complete disarray.
She had betrayed Linda for her son.
But now Linda was gone, and she had gained nothing!
This couldn't be happening!
Michael's smile turned cold. "Theodosia, this was a transaction. Since the deal isn't complete, I won't tell you anything. You need to understand the spirit of the contract."
With that, he pushed past Theodosia and left.
Theodosia's figure swayed, her face pale.
What now?
What should she do now?
Linda was missing, and she hadn't found out where her son was. She had nothing!
Michael returned to the car and reported everything to Matthew.
Matthew's tone was indifferent, "Come back for now."
Michael asked, "Mr. Montagu, with Linda completely missing, we're at a disadvantage."
Matthew responded, "I know, you don't need to remind me."
Michael replied, "So what do we do next?"
Matthew said, "Do what needs to be done."
Then he hung up the phone.
Michael was speechless.
Matthew was always so unpredictable.
Mary had been at home all day. She had a light dinner and watched as the sky outside grew darker. Her anxiety increased.
