Chapter 111 Leaving Her Daughter for Him to Raise?

Antonio's eyes narrowed, and his face turned stone-cold.

A second later, his phone buzzed.

It was James calling.

He headed back to his study and picked up. James's frantic voice came through. "Mr. Valencia, I heard the folks from BrianTech Solutions Inc are leaving today! Are you seriously not gonna talk about the deal?"

James had just gotten the news and was freaking out, so he called Antonio right away.

If the partners left, the whole deal would be toast!

Even though the rep from the partner company was Antonio's love rival, James still hoped Antonio would put the deal first!

But right now, Antonio couldn't care less if Alex was leaving. "How many tickets did he book?"

"What?" James was confused, thinking he misheard, and then sighed. "Does it matter, Mr. Valencia?"

The deal was about to go down the drain!

Antonio squinted in annoyance, his voice sharp and demanding. "Tell me!"

Even though he wasn't face-to-face, James was so scared by the angry shout that he almost dropped the phone.

He gulped and answered nervously, "Yes! Mr. Valencia, hang on, I'll check right now!"

He didn't get why Antonio needed to know how many tickets Alex had booked, but he didn't dare question it!

A few seconds later, James checked his tablet, looking puzzled. "Mr. Valencia, Alex booked three tickets."

Weird. Wasn't Alex supposed to be coming alone? Why three tickets?

On the other end, Antonio heard this and felt his anger boil over, his whole body tensing up like he was about to explode.

Three tickets!

Could it be what he thought?

His anger mixed with a hangover, making his head pound.

He gritted his teeth, fighting through the pain, and barked, "Where's Brady now? Find out right away!"

James, now even more confused and scared, had no clue why Antonio was so mad.

But he didn't dare ask, so he went to find out.

Soon, James got the info and quickly reported before Antonio lost it completely, "Mr. Valencia, I had someone check the surveillance at Brady's place. The footage shows Brady leaving with a suitcase this morning, probably heading to the airport."

As soon as he finished, there was a loud crash from the other end, and the call cut off!

James guessed what had happened, and his hand holding the phone started shaking.

Looked like the volcano had erupted.

In the study, Antonio heard James's report, confirming his suspicion.

His anger wiped out any rational thought, and he smashed his phone to the ground.

But that wasn't enough; his eyes blazed with fury as he stared at the broken phone, his lips pressed into a thin line.

So, she was really leaving with Brady and Alex!

She still wouldn't stay and insisted on going to Alex!

He thought of Harper crying earlier, his chest heaving with rage.

What did Sarah mean, leaving Harper for him to raise?

The kicker was, Harper wasn't even his kid!

She wanted him to raise Harper while she ran off with Alex?

Antonio was consumed by rage, with no time to think. He turned and stormed downstairs, heading to the airport.

He didn't notice a small, trembling figure in the hallway.

Harper had just come out of her room after finishing a call.

She had wanted some comfort, but instead, she heard a loud crash from the study, like something breaking.

She was startled, and before she could react, she saw Antonio walking out, radiating cold fury.

Harper was both scared and confused, staring blankly at Antonio's disappearing figure at the stairs, her big eyes still filled with unshed tears.

What was going on?

Why was Antonio so mad?

It was terrifying!

The airport was buzzing with people, some saying their goodbyes, others reuniting.

In the middle of the chaos, Sarah stood outside the security checkpoint, dressed in low-key black clothes.

Seeing the people in front of her, Sarah finally felt a sense of relief.

But Brady couldn't chill. He looked at Sarah with concern. "Sarah, are you sure you don't wanna come with us?"

Sarah shook her head, looking a bit helpless. "I can't leave until I get the divorce papers."

Brady sighed. "Can you handle it on your own?"

He got why she set things up this way, but he still couldn't rest easy leaving her to face Antonio alone.

That was Antonio, not just powerful but also super ruthless.

He worried she wouldn't be able to stand up to Antonio and might end up in another mess like five years ago.

Sarah was his only family, and he couldn't bear to see her get hurt again!

Sarah knew what Brady was worried about. She gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, once you all leave, Antonio can't threaten me anymore. I'll file for divorce, grab the papers, and be back with you in a jiffy."

Sarah's face was full of determination and confidence.

Even though Brady was still worried, he couldn't say much at this moment. He just nodded. "Alright, we'll go first. Be careful."

"I will." Sarah nodded with a smile, then squatted down to look at Ethan, who was gazing at her eagerly. "Ethan, Mom can't come right now, but I'll bring Harper to you soon so we can all be together."

Ethan nodded obediently and then gave Sarah a big hug. "Mommy, don't worry about me. I'll wait for you and Harper to come back!"

Once Sarah divorced Antonio, he would start working on getting Sarah and Alex together.

Now that Brady was with them, once Sarah and Alex got married, they would be a family of six!

Thinking about this made Ethan's heart fill with excitement, his eyes sparkling.

Sarah was unaware of Ethan's thoughts. Hearing his words, she just smiled with relief.

Ethan had always been well-behaved and sensible, making her worry less. Besides, with Brady and Alex taking care of him, she was certainly at ease.

Sarah patted Ethan's fluffy head, saying, "Okay, I'll do my best."

However, as a mom, Sarah couldn't help but give some last-minute instructions, "Ethan, when you go back, make sure to attend preschool with Brian. You've missed too many classes recently. Don't sneak back to the country like last time. Always tell me before you do anything. Eat well, sleep well, and don't stay up late."

Alex, watching from the side, couldn't help but chuckle. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of them."

Sarah realized she had been nagging too much. She kissed Ethan's chubby cheek, then stood up to look at Alex.

Over the years, Alex had helped her so much that she didn't know how to repay him.

Feeling a surge of emotions, she looked at Alex gratefully. "I've really caused you too much trouble, Alex. Thank you."

Hearing this, a complex emotion flashed in Alex's eyes. He responded with utmost gentleness and seriousness, "I told you, you never need to thank me."

He truly admired her, and for her, these things were nothing.

With a gentle and elegant smile on his handsome face, Alex looked into Sarah's clear eyes and added, "Take care of yourself. If you need help, contact me anytime. Good luck."

This scene didn't escape Brady's notice. He immediately sensed that Alex liked Sarah.

He scrutinized Alex, a satisfied smile appearing on his lips, and then nodded subtly.

Alex's demeanor exuded sophistication, and he treated Sarah with great tenderness, making him a better match for her than Antonio.

If Alex wanted to pursue Sarah, he would fully support it.

As they spoke, there wasn't much time left before boarding. Ethan, having drunk milk earlier, suddenly needed to use the restroom, so he turned to find the nearest restroom.

However, after taking just a couple of steps, he caught sight of a figure. The next second, Ethan's eyes widened in shock. 'Oh no! Why is Antonio here?' he thought.
