Chapter 658 Antonio Becomes History Forever
It was definitely Harold's doing.
Benjamin picked up the pace, eyes locked on the public restroom. As he rounded the corner, he grabbed a stone and held it tight.
He went straight into the restroom. After a bit, he heard faint footsteps stop at the entrance.
No one came in.
Benjamin smirked and chucked the stone at the side window, hitting a tree with a loud thud.
Sure enough, the person at the door followed the noise.
Seizing the moment, Benjamin slipped out of the restroom and ducked into the bushes. A while later, Asa hurried back, checked the restroom, found it empty, and then headed back to the hospital to check the elevator.
The elevator was still on the first floor. No one had gone up.
Where did he go?
Asa frowned and turned to search the garden again.
Meanwhile, Benjamin watched from a distance. Seeing Asa run out again, Benjamin moved towards him, and they bumped into each other at the entrance.
"Sorry," Asa muttered, too focused on his search to notice the collision.
But when he lift his gaze, he was shocked and a bit scared.
Isn't this the guy he was looking for? Did he notice him?
Benjamin was just as surprised.
He had guessed Harold sent someone to watch him, but he didn't expect it to be the guy from the photos he had received.
This guy had only recently shown up around Harold.
"At first, Benjamin felt like he knew the guy, but up close, he was like, 'Wait, I've definitely seen this dude somewhere before.'
Benjamin didn't let on, stepping aside and saying, "I'm really sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't notice. You okay?"
Asa's expression quickly returned to normal."I'm fine."
Benjamin nodded slightly and headed into the elevator.
Back in the ward, Isabella was still sound asleep.
It wasn't until he lay on the bed that a scene suddenly flashed through Benjamin's mind.
He remembered!
That guy was the one who had harassed Sarah in the alley before!
Back then, Benjamin had chased him off, but Sarah had said the guy should be in prison!
Later, Benjamin and Sarah had checked the guy's info at the police station.
Asa, the guy who once tried to rape Sarah, had supposedly died in prison. Now, he was back.
Benjamin narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint in them.
It was clear Asa had a grudge against Sarah and even Antonio.
Yet here he was, hanging around Harold and sent to spy on him.
This was getting interesting.
Benjamin's lips curled into a dangerous smile.
'Dear dad, I'll play this game with you to the end.'
But if Asa had gone after Sarah once, he'd definitely try again.
Reacting quickly, Benjamin whipped out his phone and dialed Daniel. After two rings, a sleepy voice mumbled, "Hey, Mr. Harrington. What's up?"
"I need you to send a team of top bodyguards to Sarah, right now. Make sure she's safe at all times," Benjamin ordered.
Daniel, surprised, agreeing. "Okay, Mr. Harrington, I'll handle it right away."
Benjamin added, "And remember, no one can know about this, not even Sarah. Both she and the child must be protected. If anything happens, you know the consequences."
Daniel hesitated but then agreed. "I understand, Mr. Harrington."
After hanging up, Benjamin still couldn't sleep.
He glanced at Isabella, peacefully sleeping across from him, his eyes darkening.
He just hoped everything would go smoothly and end quickly.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Asa let out a heavy sigh of relief.
He had almost thought he would be discovered.
It seemed Benjamin's mind was not only amnesiac but also a bit dull!
Benjamin really wouldn't remember who he was or what he had done!And the boss was right!
Benjamin was about to get engaged to Ms. Moore; he wouldn't remember anything about Sarah, let alone care about her.
Antonio was history.
Asa felt incredibly lucky. He hadn't died even after being blown up and had become Mr. Harrington!
Asa felt a pang of jealousy, but thinking that Benjamin would live his life unable to remember his lover and child, only living under another identity, Asa felt excited!
'This is what Benjamin deserves! He should live in the pain of unfulfilled desires!'
As for Sarah, once everything settled, he'd have plenty of time to deal with her.
What did he have to be afraid of?
