Chapter 315 Sarah did it on purpose!
"What happened?" Antonio hurried over to the children and checked on them, ensuring they were unharmed before finally feeling relieved.
Sarah felt uncomfortable in her nose and sneezed. "What's going on exactly? Ethan, you explain."
"Mommy, let me explain." Harper stepped forward. "I found a little dog in the yard. I really liked it but accidentally let it into the house.
"And it turned out like this.I'm sorry Mommy and Daddy," Harper said, bowing her head in sincere apology.
Antonio rubbed Harper's head. "There's no need to apologize. The fact that you're unhurt is what matters most."
Brian squinted. This wasn't quite what he had imagined.
"Harper, if you really like that little dog, I will take it to the vet for a thorough check-up tomorrow. If everything is fine, we can keep it."
"Really?" Harper's heart filled with joy.
"Yes, but you have to promise not to let the dog into the house. Mommy is allergic to dog hair." Antonio stood up. "Sarah, do you want me to take you to the hospital?"
"No need." Sarah opened her own bedroom door, and her tears and runny nose became uncontrollable.
"The dog never went into Daddy's room, but the other rooms were a mess..." Harper said.
Sarah pursed her lips. 'So, how will I sleep tonight?'
Antonio couldn't help but suppress a smile. If he didn't hold back, he would burst into laughter.
"Sarah, it seems like you'll have to sleep in my room tonight. Fortunately, there's a new bed and blanket. I'll bring it for you."
Sarah was unwilling but had no choice. After all, the entire house was covered in dog hair. She could only sleep in Antonio's room...
It wasn't until Sarah entered Antonio's dog hair-free room that her tears finally stopped. Her nose was red, and it almost broke the skin.
Antonio sat on the bed. "I'll send someone to thoroughly clean the house tomorrow. For tonight, just bear with it. Rest now."
Sarah nodded and rolled over, lying down without saying a word.
Antonio lay down on the bed, silently moving closer to Sarah's side. "Sarah, I was wrong yesterday. I shouldn't have lost my temper at you."
Upon hearing the apology, Sarah's complexion improved slightly, but she still didn't respond.
"Sarah, turn around and look at me." Antonio placed his hand on Sarah's body.
Suddenly, Sarah sensed something. She turned to face Antonio, squinted at him momentarily, and took the initiative to kiss him.
However, it was just a brief touch.
"As for the children, I understand your intentions, but let's not go overboard. I don't want our children to develop a sense of entitlement. If you can't listen to me on this, we have nothing else to discuss."
Antonio was thrilled by this unexpected kiss and made a series of promises.
"Okay, I'll listen to you."
Then, he got up and pinned Sarah underneath him. "Sarah, you kissed me just now. Does that mean we..."
But to his surprise, Sarah slapped him hard across the face and turned her back on him coldly and decisively.
"What 'we'? Go to sleep. I just got my period."
It finally dawned on Antonio that Sarah did it on purpose!
He had no choice but to take three cold showers.
…
The next morning, Sarah was already downstairs preparing breakfast.
Harper came knocking on the door, sensing that her parents had made up. "Daddy, get up and eat. The sun is shining on your butt! You can't sleep anymore!"
"Good morning, Harper." Antonio washed up and went out, seeing Sarah downstairs spreading jam on Ethan's toast. He couldn't help but smirk. "Sarah, good morning."
"Come down and eat."
Sarah was no longer as cold towards him as before. Although they didn't show too much intimacy, it was enough to put Antonio's mind at ease.
This made Brian, disguised as Ethan, feel stifled.
'He got saved by the dog this time, but he won’t get away so easily next time!'
During the meal, a phone rang.
"It's me. Okay, got it."
Seeing Antonio's face turn stiff, Sarah asked, "What's wrong?"
